To answer those who are curious, this is a great enrichment toy for rats as well! As others have said, the slots that the food falls through are a bit small, so I used the small, triangle-shaped Oxbow Essentials Adult Rat Food, and they fall through just fine. And don’t worry, my rats are as dumb as a bag of rocks sometimes, so if yours are any smarter than mine, they’ll figure it out! See for yourself!

I have had this only a few months and already the top wheel doesn't turn any more, allowing the treats to fall into the chambers below to eventually fall out the bottom where your bird can get the treats.
