Hummingbirds love them!

These feeders are very popular with the hummingbirds. They are sufficiently inexpensive that you can place several in your garden so that the hummers don't have to compete for food. They don't have a built-in perch, so either the birds can hover while they eat, or you can put the feeders near a wire or branch for the birds to rest on.

Yes, I recommend this product.

This product looks to be of good quality, the red translucent bottle could be a bit darker red, otherwise I like the product overall.

Questions

Does this feeder have bee guards?

  1. Hi dj3301, thank you for reaching out. All of our hummingbird feeders are designed with small enough and long enough ports to help keep the bees out. Bees tend to be attracted to leaking feeders. So you will want to make sure yours is not leaking and that it is clean from spills. I hope that helps you and if you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to ask. You can reach our Consumer Services Department at 1-800-352-9164 or at consumerservices@classicbrands.net. Happy Birding!

How often should I change the nectar?

  1. We recommend disinfecting your nectar feeders every three to five days. Increase cleaning frequency if you notice your nectar has become cloudy.

Is the container for the liquid glass or plastic??

  1. It is plastic.
