It looks stunning, but is not user-friendly. First of all, you have to add seeds thru the chimney -- a tiny one inch by one inch opening. Why not allow the whole roof to be 'lifted' for easy access? Many feeders with a 'roof' allow the whole roof to be pulled open. Secondly, the attached tag says bottom part can be easily removed for cleaning, but I see no way to remove it, so the husks accumulate on the bottom plate preventing the seeds to slide out.

I'm not sure if this was such a good idea to purchase this. I notice the birds won't come anywhere near it.

The birdhouse arrived damaged the box it was packed in looked fine and the birdhouse was wrapped with bubble wrap but the bottom of the birdhouse on one side was cracked and broken and the tabs on on the one side that attaches the house to the bottom of the feeder was broken. I liked the house very much but was disappointed it was broken.

Absolutely love the bird feeder. Holds around 5lbs of seed so you don't have to fill as often.

The product is fantastic. The shipping was a nightmare. The box came damaged and destroyed. Everything is fine though

I am very happy with this feeder. It is easy to clean. There are two screws on the bottom that easily unscrew so you can take it apart and clean it (which I do whenever the birds empty it). It holds a lot of seed and the birds like to perch on it. It's also sturdy. I love my schoolhouse feeder!

This is a cute and very sturdy birdfeeder. However it is absolutely horrible to clean! The birds acted like they couldn't perch on it, so we added a low wood rail around the outside attached by screws and spacers. That fixed that problem and the birds loved it. However I find it nearly impossible to keep clean as the rain gets in the feeding tray and the seeds turn to cement. I have to pry the seeds out and submerge the entire thing in soapy water with a bottle brush and scrub like crazy and I still feel as if the interior never really gets clean.
