Cat gates and doors allow you to set boundaries and control your cat’s access to certain areas inside and outside. your home. Common options include:
The best cat gate and enclosure depends on your needs, your home and your kitty. We have gates with flaps that use a microchip so only your cat can get through. We have easily foldable and storable enclosures for temporary uses and more sturdy gates for everyday use.
Cat gates work to either keep cats in or out of specific areas, whether for their benefit or for the benefit of another member of the household. You can use them temporarily to help acclimate new pets, or use them every day to set boundaries within your home.
Some dog and cat doors are interchangeable—it depends on the site of the door, and the size of your pet.

My cat keeps peeing at the front door
How do I keep my 5 year old female cat from escaping
We recently got an electronic doggie door. While we are training them we have it set to unlocked. Our 50-pound lab mix has pretty much figured it out. However we also have midna the Chiweenie she is scared of the door I think so because we had to buy it says for the bigger dog and every time she considers going through right after Sarah it smacks her in the face. It is light enough for her to push it open if she decides to they both had the same training when we first got it but she refuses
We've had a cat flap for a while but the cats will only use it when the flap is tied open. We really want to encourage use as it's synced to chips not allowing in other animals. How can we get them to use this themselves? We have tried treats, shutting them out etc.
I have a young cat brand new to home and I have a sliding door. I am wondering can a cat be trained not to attempt to go through the screen door?
Hello, we have 2 female cats both age 2 - 3, both are sterilized. They have always been indoor cats but we want to start letting them out at summer. They are chipped and we will get GPS collars. How do we start to let them out? Do we just open doors and let them explore? We live in small village with no big roads close by. We also have big back yard but no fence. Thanks!
My cat has figured out how to open a door. I mean by a doorknob. How is he able to do that? How can I keep him from doing it? He also escaped from a latched cage at the vet and was found wandering around the clinic so he is already a known felon
Hi. My kitten is an indoor outdoor and I wanted to keep him away from stray cats. I can't keep him indoors only because not every windows and back doors are closed because they need to stay open (in some apparent reason). What do I do?
Our cat scratches at the bedroom door/walls at night. It is not about stretching/clawing, we have established this is her way of asking to go outside. She already has a scratch post she uses. We don't have a cat flap - during the day she is outside mostly. At night they are indoors and we have a litter tray. If we let her stay out all night she sits outside our window meowing to come in. If we keep her in she scratches at the door to go out. The disruption of sleep is become unbearable. Help!
2 0f 4 of our cats wont use cat flap and 1 has taken to sleeping in litter tray plz help
I have two neutered cats who love being outside. We live in a mountainous area with wildlife, so we are trying to keep them inside but they learned how to open doors. We are trying to decide b/w a wireless pet fence in our yard where they wear large-ish shock collars (even though they are smaller for cats) all the time as the company says not to wear for more than 12 hours or to just put cat trackers on them and find them every night. Which is safer?
got 2 kitties 1 is 22 lbs other is 8, they need a window seat, I live way out in the country no shops, last 1 I bought was lousy, do you know of a good one, thank you so much for your time
