A swing. Then a miss
The good: can track cats (in vs out) control who can go out, who cannot go out and set a curfew. App is nice and uses the same app as my feeders
The bad: Drafty, very drafty: tt is not built to exact tolerances and the weatherstripping isn't large enough pile. It's freezing outside and I have to wait 2 weeks for a fix to arrive. I will need to figure out a way to block the door, but then that will stop my cats from using it, which they are not fond of using.
They aren't fond of using it because it's too small. Some of cats barely fit through, one doesn't fit at all.
They really need to make a bigger version with the same features as this door. If you go with their larger door, you lose the ability to prevent limit certain cats from going outside.
Secondly, my cats BARELY fit through it.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Nice features and no issues with it so far
So far I really love it, I have multiple cats and only one has kidney issues. I use to separate out kibble in a tote so they can graze during the day, I will likely make a larger box at some point so they have more space. You are able to set curfews so that I can stop them from eating a few hours prior to giving them canned food and if my kidney diseased cat were to find a way in, since she's designated as an 'indoor only' cat, it will let her back out of the tote. I'm not sure if you can set the curfews without the app, I would suggest if you are paying for the door, you might as well pay out for the hub as well.
Yes, I recommend this product.

does this cat door work with microchips in the United States
Can a raccoon open this to the ouside with his claw as I have seen in some videos, or is it 2 way latched?
- It is 2 way latched. I did a lot of research on it and this is one of the only raccoon resistant doors offered

Is the hub included?
