Tucker is crate trained but he barks non stop when we leave the house, he can’t have anything in it or he eats it. Today we locked him in the bedroom thinking that might help but he ate the wall. I can’t handle it I feel terrible for saying it, I love him but this needs to be fixed
So my dog keeps peeing in her kennel. I have started making more frequent potty breaks and that has helped some. But she still has accidents about twice a week. So I have thought about getting her a smaller kennel. She is in a 42’’ wire kennel. She can lay in a ball in the corner of it and not take up much room. She is too tall for a smaller kennel. What should I do? Also she had had all her bloodwork done and nothing is wrong. She is 30’’ tall and 30’’ long.
Will my ShiChon who is 15 long and 11 high fit in a airline soft sided carrier that is 17x11x11? Will she be comfortable as well? I’ve attached a picture of her in it. She climbed in herself.
Aquiline is an inside cat although we try to have supervise outdoor leashtime we have found that his mesh harness what does what we were originally recommended stretches too much and he can rather easily slip out of it and get free he did this yesterday on our way back from the pet store to get him new toys. What type of harness would you recommend for supervised outside time
Hai Dr.Davis! Heartfelt thanks to you for the help and support that you are giving us. As you said, we made toby stand by using a towel. He could not place his legs properly on the floor. But we helped and made him sit and stand for about 5 minutes and walk slowly in this manner. Our vet talled us that his right leg has been affected. Picture depicts his right and left side. Dr,which model of help em harness can be used?Your words means alot for us and our little brother toby-the chocopie boy:)
Can I bring my cat to petco to get fitted for a harness and leash
I want to crate train my 1 year old dog. I bought a "medium" crate for her , shes 25 lbs - aussie/dashund mix so shes kind of long shaped. The measurments on the box are for a dog even taller/wider than mine... but the crate doesnt really seem big enough for her to turn around in (unless she kind of squirmed up into a circle). Do you think I need to buy a larger crate? Why does the size on the box say its good for the dog's size.. / ?
we have a 20 pound rat terrier mix in excellent health, not overweight. She is 11 yrs old and we were trying to fin d a carrier like a backpack to put her in for our long walks, when she gets tired. There are so many to choose from. I like the ones that we strap on the front of the human, and her legs stick out at the top and bottom just like a real baby. However I am concerned that the position might put too much pressure on her back end. What can you recommend?
What harness is the best and most comfortable for my dog. It would also have to work with a tie out stake. The one i have she just pulls right out of it. I think it might be a little big but the next size down is to small. It is the vest kind. Maybe thats the problem. Could you help me please. I would appreciate it. Thanks so much.
Our 15month old Maltese x pug got his neck stuck in a baby gate while the gate fit is neck in he couldn't pull his head out and pooed himself literally all in 10seconds it's been 2 hours seems fine but worried to go to sleep could he still go into shock? I've checked gums and eyes they look fine. Pulse is about 88-90
I am looking for a heavy duty retractable Leah’s to use for my corgi because she chewed through the other one I had. Need something that she can not chew through and still be retractable. Any suggestion?
My puppy is being very destructive whenever I leave the house, and we think it’s due to separation anxiety. My family and I didn’t want to leave him cooped up in a crate when we leave the house, so we bought 2 gates and put him in the kitchen so that he has more room to walk around. However, whenever I come home, he’s either chewed stuff up, or eaten things. It’s starting to get out of control, and I don’t know what to do.
