We recently got an electronic doggie door. While we are training them we have it set to unlocked. Our 50-pound lab mix has pretty much figured it out. However we also have midna the Chiweenie she is scared of the door I think so because we had to buy it says for the bigger dog and every time she considers going through right after Sarah it smacks her in the face. It is light enough for her to push it open if she decides to they both had the same training when we first got it but she refuses
Hi, I live in a small apartment and I have a miniature poodle she's a pretty well trained dog, however she likes to lay in between entrances and exits and stretch out making us having to walk slower or go around her to get to where we are going like the hallway, the walk space between the living room and etc. PLEASE have any advice? Tucker is crate trained but he barks non stop when we leave the house, he can’t have anything in it or he eats it. Today we locked him in the bedroom thinking that might help but he ate the wall. I can’t handle it I feel terrible for saying it, I love him but this needs to be fixed
So my dog keeps peeing in her kennel. I have started making more frequent potty breaks and that has helped some. But she still has accidents about twice a week. So I have thought about getting her a smaller kennel. She is in a 42’’ wire kennel. She can lay in a ball in the corner of it and not take up much room. She is too tall for a smaller kennel. What should I do? Also she had had all her bloodwork done and nothing is wrong. She is 30’’ tall and 30’’ long.

I've moved and to get my cat acclimated I've decided I'm going to crate him while we are working. The crate i have is 42"x28"x30", with a dual level. Will this be enough space for my cat? He is 14y/o, and will be crated for 6-8 hours 5 days a week for a few weeks, until he gets used to the area. Of course he'll be inside the house, and let out in the evenings and sometimes for a bit on lunchtime.
My lab repeatedly chews up the dog door flaps suggestions on ending this type of behavior. I have replaced them twice would like to make this time before winter my final time.
Charles is a 6 mo old yorkie. We have mastered the crate and he has a puppy apartment for his sleeping and crate potty needs (the crate is large enough & has a divider that separates the sleeping area from the potty area). He hardly ever messes in it. However when he is out of the crate, if I am not careful, the whole house is his pee pad. I would like him to use a pee pad when I can't get him out on time.
