Questions
My lab is 95 pounds. Will this fate be sturdy enough to stop him from crossing over?
- The gate is sturdy. Our German Wirehair is about that size and it works for him.

My door frames are 36" wide. Does this gate extend to match the width of my door frames?
- It should. We are using it in an opening of 40".

Is it waterproof would I be able to use it outside?
- Thank you for your question. It is not reccommended to use our metal gates outdoors as exposure to the elements will cause the metal to rust.

Can a cat get through the openings or jump over the gate? I brought in our the outdoor cat that adopted us because she had to see vet. She is recovering in bathroom. I have 3 cats. Can cats get through slats or jump over it?

Because all cats are different sizes and have different levels of interest in trying to jump onto or over items, we cannot say with certainty whether or not your cat will be able to fit through or over the gate. To help you determine if this gate will be a good fit, the distance between the bars is 2.25" and its height is 28.5" high.

Can this gate fit in a 27 3/4" doorway?
- I just measured mine and the smallest this gate can go is 26 1/2"-26 3/4". Hope this helps!

I have a very strong English bulldog and he grabs my gate at the bottom and pulls until it opens. Does this gate lock both ends?
- Thank you for your question. When installed correctly, this gate is great for keeping your pet secure. It has a double-locking mechanism at the top handle but no lock at the bottom.

My door is 24", will this still be too wide or will it be a tight fit?

I have a 40lb. corgi who busts through most any gate. Got your large model, which he tried, but to this point failed to break through. Was wondering it smaller model with tension rods would hold back a determined dog.

I need to order an extension on this gate. What would be the Item # and is the color the bronze/brown just as the gate?
I have two ferrets, and they can easily pass your bars. I am just wondering if you can make custom made for ferrets. For example, simply add more vertical bars.

Hi, i need some help with my dog. We are about to be evicted because she has gained weight and will not pass the laws in the building. We live in BC and will not surrender our dog but we are coming to the last 3 days of trying to solve this problem of her weight/height. A Our property manager has asked for a letter from a vet starting that our dog is not over 20' and not over 40 lbs'. Could anyone assist us? We're considering a dog for adoption; likely basset-beagle mix (foster maybe some terrier). We have three staircases in our 4-floor townhouse. Concerned that stairs would be bad for his back if he shares that problem with Basset hounds. A racoon or possum may be showing interest in my cat flap door that is installed in storm door,... is there anything I can put there over night when closed to repel? Will lavender branch or rosemary or mint keep them away? Will keeping outside flood liget keep them away? Any suggestions or experience will be greatly appreciated. I love in new jersey usa.
