Very sturdy! Wish it was a few inches taller but happy with it. Using on the deck as a gate on the top of stairs, morkie won’t jump over it.

I bought an awful one last year that was bulky and heavy and I had to lift my leg uncomfortably high to enter and exit. My mama cats (2 sisters) were continually trying to pick up their kittens by the neck and jump over it because they could not see out. It was extremely frightening and stressful the entire 8 weeks.
With this one it surpassed all my expectations. First, I was able to assemble it all by myself (great feat)!!!!!! It was a comfortable height for raising my legs and you can see in and out. My cats have not attempted to pick-up their newborns, which is a great relief. My cats appear much happier and relaxed. Also I don't have to lodge it between the door. I can pick it up and move it. It is also a beautiful piece of equipment. . Thank you, thank you, and thank you.

Can this be used for a ferret or can they squeeze through the rungs / bottom?
Can the dog move the crate and get out of room. I have a 35 pound dog. Having a hard time finding a gate that he can't escape.
- Yes. My dog is 12 lbs and can move the gate if he tries hard enough, The way my room is set up, I'm able to anchor it between the furniture if I turn one of the side panels that fold and slide it between the end table and couch. It just take practice to figure out what works best for you. I love my gate because I'm able to move it around to where I need it and adjust to the size and space needed. It's sturdy and well made. Your not going to find one that's perfect because dog will be doge and it's there job to escape enclosures. Hope this helps. Kathy

what is the exact weight , new hard wood floors does the center bottom touch the floor in between legs, and are the legs bottom rubberized?

I am planning for my future pup! (A Pomeranian, hopefully a teacup Pom.) But i would like to know what is the difference in the large and the small? is the large longer and higher or just longer. Product looks very promising though!
- Good evening. I purchased the small for my 12 pound ShihTzu over 4 years ago. Love this product. He can't jump oe or knock it down. I like that I'm able to move it from room to room and change the size to filt the space needed. It folds up for easy storage. It will work great for any size Pom you get.

I have the freestanding gate in the large size, color-Autumn Matte #94136. I need the smaller size also. As I want them to match is the color on this smaller one Autumn Matte, believe number is 94135? I love my larger one, excellent!!

Is it still free standing at 72" wide?
- I would say yes. I have the small and it says it opens to 40.2. My opening is 40 1/4 - open to last rung and it is very sturdy. I can pick it up with one hand and move it and the sections stay firmly in place. I'm very happy with the gate. I have natural oak woodwork and it looks so much better than the white adjustable gates plus at 20' it is easy to step over instead of moving. I bought it when it was on sale- got a great deal. While it would be worth full price I personally wouldn't pay it.
