I bought this a month ago and I need to return it. I was really frustrated that the description did not tell me that it has to be screwed into the wall rather than a temporary way of placing it as most child gates have.

Does the hardware pose any significant hazards with the gate disconnected? Is it possible to purchase additional hardware, such that the gate can be moved between two or more openings?

    I don't quite understand how the gate opens if you have to mount all four corners to the wall, could you please help me to understand?

      Thank you for your question. The Extra-Wide Swing Petgate is a hardware mounted gate that adjusts to fit openings from 60-103" wide. There is a locking latch on both ends of the gate frame that attaches to the eye screw hooks that are mounted to the wall. The gate can easily be opened from either side of the gate frame by simply pressing the latch and then raising the gate to clear the eye screw hooks that are attached to the wall.     Can I easily remove this gate daily and store it?

      Thank you for your question. You can easily remove the gate from the hardware mounts without needing to remove the hardware from the wall. The gate will be as small as 60" when it is slid together for storage.

    My opening is more than 103 inches. Is it possible to purchase two gates and extend the gate?

      Thank you for your question. Unfortunately it is not possible to extend the Extra Wide Swing Petgate to accommodate an opening larger than 103" wide. We do have other gate options that have extensions that will accommodate larger openings.     Will this work on the corner of two walls? The entry of my kitchen goes from the corner of one wall to the corner of my bar so it won’t be flesh up against a wall.

      Thank you for your inquiry. The Extra Wide Swing pet gate includes 4 eye screws that must be installed into a solid surface such as wood or metal. The gate should be installed in an opening with two flat even surfaces that are parallel to each other for maximum safety.     When gate is installed and in use does it have a gate that you can open and walk through?
