The gate looks nice and appears to be well constructed. I would have liked it to be a bit easier (quicker) to adjust the width. As it is, the adjusting pins have to be completely removed and then reinserted. If i were to order again, I probably would choose a foldable gate. It is too aggravating to return something this heavy and big, so i feel compelled to keep it.

Gate not only serves my immediate needs, it has the flexibility to be used in a smaller or larger area.

Easy to assemble. Sturdy, freestanding gate - no need to put holes in our walls! Works well for our dogs as well as small children. Looks great; fits with our decor.

I got this to cordon my 15 lb puppy off from the living room. Unfortunately, he can jump over it. Even blocking this with chairs doesn't dissuade him from scaling this gate. It's just not tall enough for medium to larger breeds, especially springy puppies. It's a shame because this is otherwise a very pretty dog gate, that my puppy now likes to chew on.

Solved problem without having to mount on wall. Keep BIG puppy where she needs to be!!!!

This pet gate is very heavy and well made. It blends with my traditionally styled house. It adjusts with 4 screws holding it together. The usage directions say that it is for use with pets from 6.6 to 33 pounds. I did not see this in the info before ordering but my pet is within the weight range. It is so heavy and stable that it will adequately restrain a slightly larger pet if the pet is not a jumper.

It's my fault for not clarifying before I spent the chunk of change...but I wish this gate was INSTANTLY adjustable! It's adjustable...but you have to unscrew 4 bolts, resize the gate and screw 4 bolts back in! The descriotion said adjustable...but I was hoping for something a lot quicker to deal with! I didn't realize all this until it was unpacked half way assembled...couldn't return it then! Other than that, it does give me good size flexibility and seems quite stable so far.
