This dog gate is attractive and folds easily to transport so that I can switch between keeping my dogs upstairs or downstairs. I have no trouble carrying it up/down stairs by myself. Assembly was not difficult.

This is the 2nd pet gate I have bought from Richeelle since I got my new puppy, I have to agree with their description of the product. It is made with high quality products, Beautiful hardwood construction and my husband got it put together in 10 minutes. Very sturdy. It is also beautiful. My puppy is now 40 lbs and he is a little relentless. He tried to get through and over this gate but he couldn't do it. Thank you Richelle, this is a really great gate. Worth the price.

This is a quality gate. We like that it is free-standing and easy to move (as we've put enough holes in our walls and are tired of doing drywall patching!) This gate is heavy and stands evenly on the floor. We have a large dog but our primary reason for the gate is so he won't go up stairs to get the cat food!

How tall is the Large gate? The dimensions do not change when switching between th small and large gate.

Does the Richell Freestanding Pet Gate "LG" open to walk thru?

No, but I don't find it difficult to just slide it forward or back to walk around then replace it.

How long are the side extentions? I'd like to use it completely flat behind a buffet on one side & under a bar on the other side.

The sides fold inward only so the side extensions cannot be used to extend it. The construction is such that the side panels must be at a 45 degree angle and that is what gives it stability. If the maximum size of the adjustable main panel is not sufficient for your purposes then this will not work for your purpose.

Is this gate sturdy enough if an 11 ib dog stood up on it

Yes. This gate has been challenged by my 30 lb and very determined puppy and he gave.up trying to get around or through it very quickly.
