This question is for david elezbeth: Is 30-50% carbs an appropriate amount in dog food? I just started my dog on honest kitchen dehydrated dog food and these are the typical range in carbs. Is this to much? Also some reviewers have posted that their dog had more voluminous stool and went more frequently with bits of food still present in the stool. Is this normal? Chloe seems to be doing fine but I am noticing the bits of food in her stool. Is this ok to continue with this food?
So for the past few months my cat wanted to be alone in the kitchen she all the sudden wants to come out and be the center of attention could this mean she was sick but is now feeling better?
My 12 week old puppy is doing great with potty training, however the last week he has been going pee alot at one time. He some hope started in the kitchen with a huge pile, ran through the living room, with a huge stream, and all the way down the hallway.... I didn't think he could hold in that much pee.. it's very clear. I'm just weird there's something wrong.. he drinks a ton of water, and I don't know if something is wrong.
my dad whistled really loudly while my dog was asleep/resting and it startled him. after that he wouldn’t go in the living room, stayed only in the kitchen, even when i got him a snack he just grabbed it to eat it outside the living room. he’s now lying in the sofa instead of the usual lying under the table while we eat. should i worry? could he just be scared after that? he seemed normal all day (maybe a little lazier due to the heat, it’s been really hot all day)
I took my dog to a dog park for the first time. He is 9 months old and is a small breed dog. Well, it didn't go as expected, he was barking non stop at all of the other dogs and after that all the other dogs started barking too. To be honest that was embarrassing. How can I make it stop, how can I get him to stop barking and growling at all the other dogs and humans?
HI my name is Esther and I think my dog ate poison. I sprayed ant and roach spray in the corners of my kitchen and I put my dog inside after a bathroom break and when he went in he ate I think a price of food in the corner and when I smelled his mouth it smelled like the poison.
Conan wasn’t food motivated AT ALL as a puppy, so for his training, our trainer said we could use small bit of cheese or meats- people food. The problem is, now he never wants to eat HIS food. He rarely glances at his kibble, but he is constantly interested in human food, sniffing around the kitchen and around anyone with a snack. We’ve tried multiple flavors and brands, and it’s the same with them all. He’s getting a bit too skinny for my comfort. (He also has a worm problem.) Suggestions?
what are your thoughts on the chicken jerky scare involving brands like waggin train, milos kitchen, canyon creek, cadet, etc. are these brands dangerous for dogs and should they be avoided? Please explain, as there has been a lot of confusion regarding this subject. Thank you. Should ALL jerky be avoided at this point?
My 9 puppies that are 5 weeks old seem to have diarrhea I'm not sure how many of the have it to be honest there is so many and I'm not always around when they do number 2 it's soupy but is at the same time a little firm and when I change the puppy pads there is a lot of red I'm not sure if it's the food because puppy food I have them on if Brown and red. I have an appointment with vet on Monday to get their first shots.
15 year old daschund..Started this afternoon when she didn't come in the kitchen to supervise..got worse falling over, bit me good when I tried to pet her..looks likes she's lost..she still burrows herself, but can't get comfy, still eating, pooping ok..off balance and looks lost
Yin is a sweet and loving cat. Shes never been harmed, mistreated or anything of the sort but is skittish over almost everything. Walk in the kitchen when shes eating, she runs frantically. Walk up gently to pet her shes fine. Scared of toys, scared when walking around etc. Her tails shakes a lot randomly too. The other cats wont play with her, she doesnt seem to know how to play. She doesnt slow blink and stares. I've tried everything and nothing really makes it better. Is this normal?
I've read that household cleaning supplies can be dangerous to cats, but how am I supposed to clean my house then? When I use those clorox wipes on kitchen counters I wipe it again with just a wet paper towel, is that enough? Also my mom is cleaning the carpet on the stairs with a carpet cleaner. We're going to let it dry for an hour before we let the cat out, is that ok? I know that inhaling it can be bad, as well as if they step on it and lick their paws
