[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My picky eater seems to still want to eat and has not backed away from eating it. Only used for about a month and half. Hope it changes her skin and lessens her itchiness

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I actually really like this product. I’ve been making my dog home made organic food for a few months now but could never make enough to fill his daily calorie count, with this and the dehydrated mix combined makes his day complete. After lot of research I found this brand and it’s WAY healthier than regular store bought stuff. My dog loves it as well. He’s had more energy and regular bowel movements multiple times a day. The crunch is great which also helps clean his teeth. I’m buying more as I type this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fed this for several years to my Golden that had a ton of allergies. It was the only food he thrived on, and would maintain a decent weight on. His coat was always soft and shiny, and he loved every meal.

I have been feeding dry clusters (with a yummy protein topper!) to my dogs for a year now. They are so happy, their fur is so soft and smooth, and I can even use the kibble pieces as training treats because the dogs love them so much! I can't imagine I'll ever switch away from Honest Kitchen! Thanks for keeping my dogs happy and healthy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Noticed my dogs especially my oldest was slowing down and not thriving so I looked into her food. Started her on the dehydrated food and the grain free kibble that’s not ultra processed. My dog has picked up her speed and her attitude seems happier too.

Questions

1 - 9 of 9 Questions

One of our dogs does not have any teeth. Will adding water softener the kibble enough for her to eat it?

  1. Probably but you’ll need enough water and let it sit long enough. Could depend on the kibble as well. We us Honest Kitchen Clusters and those will get soft.  There are several brands where the food is dehydrated and you just add water and has the consistency of oatmeal.

How many ingredience do your dry dog food have. It seems like there is everything but the kitchen sink in dry dog food. WHY IS THAT???

last few bags have been having many cups of powder in them, is this normal?

    1. Mine sometimes have it too. I think it’s just like the bottom of the barrel or crumbs sometimes. I am pretty sure the bags are by weight, so even though there are crumbs/some powder, you are still getting your amount you paid for. I just opened a new bag and it hardly had any. So that makes me think, if they have a bin of food they are bagging, crumbs and smaller pieces will settle to the bottom. Hope this makes sense and this would be my best guess about the powder.

Are the feeding guidelines/cups listed per serving or for the entire day?

    1. Hi there, Thanks for reaching out! Our feeding charts show the suggested serving amounts for the full day. so if you feed twice daily, you would split this in two and so on. I hope this helps! Thanks,

Why is the food coming extremely burned and full of kibble powdered now?

Is this a hard crunchy dry dog food or soft and chewy?  Is your small breed dry dog food soft and chewy?

    1. I would describe it as light hard and crunchy. My dog enjoys both.

What is the approximate diameter of the kibble? I am going to be using an automatic feeder that will take up to 3/4 diameter kibbles.

    1. The clusters are consistently around a half inch.

    What’s the CARBOHYDRATE percentage

    1. Hello! Thanks for reaching out. For the Grain Free Chicken Whole Food Clusters, the percentage of calories that come from carbohydrates is 40%. You can find full AAFCO Nutrient Profiles for each of our complete and balanced recipes on our website. approximately how many cups are in a 20# bag?

    1. I'm thinking around 50 cups, give or take
