These are only guidelines-your individual dog's needs will vary with age, breed and activity level. We suggest dividing the amounts below into two servings and always providing clean water. I should have switched a long time ago!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been feeding all of our dogs Taste of the Wild for years, sometimes switching brands, but always going back. I decided to try Honest Kitchen for our current dogs, Olive and Cookie. Usually it takes a while for them to like a new food but not this time! They ate like they hadn't had a meal in days. Cookie at it right away. Olive used to pick at her food in the mornings and then walk away. I figured she would eat when she was hungry which was usually at dinner time. The first bowl of the chicken clusters, Olive didn't walk away but ate it all. Both she and Cookie look forward to their food and eat both times of day. I have noticed a difference in their energy levels, eyes, and most noticeably, their coat! I'm not switching back. Honest Kitchen is a keeper!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we first got our fur baby at 10 months old we knew we were going to transition her to a more healthier food option but we didn’t know it was going to be a difficult road of many unanswered questions and our girl not feeling her best. She struggled with itchy eyes and ears and upset tummy with so many foods we tried. So many expensive tests and vet bills later we still didn’t have an answer. We were feeling hopeless to the point we made her meals ourselves, fresh at home. Although we were willing to do whatever it took to get our lovable girl feeling better we felt like we weren’t doing enough, not sure if we were giving her the right amount of nutrients. we visited countless pet stores asking even other dog owners in the isles what they feed their dogs. We met a sweet women who shared with us The Honest Kitchen and I swear it felt like a weight lifted and as if the shelf where the bag of Grainfree chicken recipe was glowing! We took it home and started her slowly on it and her itchy eyes, ears and tummy issues started to clear up! We absolutely love this food for our girl. We have been using this brand for over a year now and love it! She enjoys her breakfast warm with a little goats milk sprinkled on top. Thank you The Honest Kitchen for amazing products!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have 3 small dogs (ages 4, 14 & 16), and they all love these clusters. The small size makes them easy to consume and digest. We also add some of the Honest Kitchen "toppers" to bring a little more flavor and nutrition to their meals. We switched to Honest Kitchen about 4 months ago and all of our dogs are doing well on these formulas. No digestive issues and they certainly look forward to meal time!

Questions

last few bags have been having many cups of powder in them, is this normal?

  1. Mine sometimes have it too. I think it’s just like the bottom of the barrel or crumbs sometimes. I am pretty sure the bags are by weight, so even though there are crumbs/some powder, you are still getting your amount you paid for. I just opened a new bag and it hardly had any. So that makes me think, if they have a bin of food they are bagging, crumbs and smaller pieces will settle to the bottom. Hope this makes sense and this would be my best guess about the powder.

Are the feeding guidelines/cups listed per serving or for the entire day?

  1. Hi there, Thanks for reaching out! Our feeding charts show the suggested serving amounts for the full day. so if you feed twice daily, you would split this in two and so on. I hope this helps! Thanks,

Why is the food coming extremely burned and full of kibble powdered now?

  1. Hi there, Thank you for contacting us. I'm so sorry to hear about your experience and I want to assure you that we take the quality of our products very seriously. Is this a hard crunchy dry dog food or soft and chewy?  Is your small breed dry dog food soft and chewy?

  1. I would describe it as light hard and crunchy. My dog enjoys both.

What is the approximate diameter of the kibble? I am going to be using an automatic feeder that will take up to 3/4 diameter kibbles.

  1. The clusters are consistently around a half inch.

What’s the CARBOHYDRATE percentage

  1. Hello! Thanks for reaching out. For the Grain Free Chicken Whole Food Clusters, the percentage of calories that come from carbohydrates is 40%. You can find full AAFCO Nutrient Profiles for each of our complete and balanced recipes on our website.
