These are only guidelines-your individual dog's needs will vary with age, breed and activity level. We suggest dividing the amounts below into two servings and always providing clean water. To switch to Whole Food Clusters, add a little to your dog's current food each day over the course of 5-7 days while decreasing the amount of current food over time. If feeding with a topper or wet food, adjust accordingly to maintain a healthy weight. Dog weight ( lbs.) Excellent product

Excellent product, good ingredients, good cooking process. The only negative thing is you lose an average of 3 cups of food per bag, as the bottom layer turns to dust.

Happy pooch

Our dog was changed to Hills prescription dry but did not like it. Due to allergies, had to find an affordable, wholesome product. He weighs 110 lbs so wet variation was not feasible He loves it and we did not “transition” as we know we should. He had zero reaction to the change. Very happy fur mom

Thank God, someone who believes in real, human-grade, good quality food for my fur baby. I rely on this kibble which allows me a variety in feeding since I also cook my own (venison, organs, veggies according to my vet's recipe. ) Thank you Honest Kitchen!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I feed this for one meal a day and give them home made for the other meal. I like the human grade ingredients and lighter processing. Just wish it didn't have synthetic supplements.

Questions

1 - 4 of 4 Questions

How many cups are in a 5 pound bag?

  1. Hi there, That's a great question. There are approximately 20 cups in each 5 pound bag of Whole Food Clusters. I hope this clears things up! Thanks,

How much water is recommended to add to 3/4 cup food?

  1. Hi there! You're welcome to add as much or as little water to the Whole Food Clusters as you'd like. Our Clusters are made so that you can feed them right out of the bag without any additional steps, unlike the dehydrated recipes we make which require water to be added. So you can feed the Clusters dry, or if you'd prefer to increase your pup's hydration, feel free to add as much water as you feel is appropriate. I hope this helps!

How large are the clusters? I just adopted a 4 lb. Chihuahua. Would her tiny mouth be able to handle them?

  1. No definitely not - I have a yorkie- poo and I have to crush these into way smaller pieces. They do sell small breed but I haven’t been able to find in the store

I have a very picky eater. He is a Maltipoo. I brought a trial pack of chicken and the other is turkey. I mixed the chicken one and put a couple of tablespoons down and he ate it when I put the rest in bowl he walked away. Can I save the rest for later?

  1. Hello! Thanks for your question. You can absolutely save the rest for later. Once the dehydrated food has been re-hydrated with warm water, you may cover and refrigerate any uneaten portions for 2-3 days. Frozen leftovers will keep for even longer (but we don’t recommend feeding anything past the best by date, even if it’s been frozen!). We suggest adding a little bit of warm water to the mix and stirring before serving. I hope this helps!
