These are only guidelines-your individual dog's needs will vary with age, breed and activity level. We suggest dividing the amounts below into two servings and always providing clean water. To switch to Whole Food Clusters, add a little to your dog's current food each day over the course of 5-7 days while decreasing the amount of current food over time. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 5lb senior Yorkie is SO picky and he loves these. The price is reasonable and the ingredients speak for themselves. If your pup has lost some teeth just add a tiny bit of water to soften it. Love that there’s a grain free option too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old english sheep dog loves it. Perfect poops! However, the value is POOR since each 20 lb bag contains at least 2-3 pounds of powder at the bottom, making the bag the equivalent of a 17 pound bag. If my dog didn't love it so well i would never buy the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We rescued our dog and she was extremely underweight and malnourished. We mixed this with the dehydrated chicken and she absolutely loves it. She’s been on it for 5 months now and she will be for life.

Not a fan

One of my dogs started refusing this. He's a lab so it was really concerning but once I started adding in a different food, he showed interest. I'm phasing out the Honest Kitchen and even still if he cant eat around it, he just ignores his bowl. I wanted to try a human grade dry food with them because they have a lot of human grade chews and treats in their diet, but this was a no go. And it crumbles a lot. I got it shipped and a lot of the bag just turns to dust.

No, I do not recommend this product.

How many cups are in a 5 pound bag?

  1. Hi there, That's a great question. There are approximately 20 cups in each 5 pound bag of Whole Food Clusters. I hope this clears things up! Thanks,

How much water is recommended to add to 3/4 cup food?

  1. Hi there! You're welcome to add as much or as little water to the Whole Food Clusters as you'd like. Our Clusters are made so that you can feed them right out of the bag without any additional steps, unlike the dehydrated recipes we make which require water to be added. So you can feed the Clusters dry, or if you'd prefer to increase your pup's hydration, feel free to add as much water as you feel is appropriate. I hope this helps!

How large are the clusters? I just adopted a 4 lb. Chihuahua. Would her tiny mouth be able to handle them?

  1. No definitely not - I have a yorkie- poo and I have to crush these into way smaller pieces. They do sell small breed but I haven’t been able to find in the store

I have a very picky eater. He is a Maltipoo. I brought a trial pack of chicken and the other is turkey. I mixed the chicken one and put a couple of tablespoons down and he ate it when I put the rest in bowl he walked away. Can I save the rest for later?

  1. Hello! Thanks for your question. You can absolutely save the rest for later. Once the dehydrated food has been re-hydrated with warm water, you may cover and refrigerate any uneaten portions for 2-3 days. Frozen leftovers will keep for even longer (but we don’t recommend feeding anything past the best by date, even if it’s been frozen!). We suggest adding a little bit of warm water to the mix and stirring before serving. I hope this helps!
