Questions
Why is the 10lb never in stock for shipping?
- Sure--I had this problem with several sources--ultimately I bought from the Honest Kitchen site itself--they've been pretty regular with their supply for the last 2/3 years.

How much food would you recommend daily for a 42 lb 2 yr old mixed breed, now 5 lbs overweight. Mix of jack Russell and Staffordshire terriers
- If your dog's eating kibble now, he/she should lose weight on this food just from the switch. You'll probably want to do some trial and error on the amount, just adjust until you're seeing the results you want. I have 2 older dogs both about 60 pounds and they each eat about 4 cups a day, rehydrated (measuring AFTER the water's added). Every other day when I mix up a large batch, they each get an extra cup because they love it freshly made.

I have a 70 pound senior boxer, I feed him kibble right now. 25 lb bag lasts me 3 wks (3 cups per day). Your site says he will go through a 10 lb (40 lbs of food) box of dehydrated food in 16 days? So I will spend $122 every 2wks??
- Hi there, Thanks for reaching out! For a 70 pound senior, we would recommend 2 cups of dehydrated food (plus water) per day. There are roughly 40 cups in each 10 pound box. So one 10 pound box would last your dog roughly 20 days. I hope this clears things up a bit! Best,
