Have you noticed your dog leaving puddles around the house? They may be suffering from incontinence. The definition of incontinence in dogs is simple—it’s when your pet loses control of their urination system. It can occur in many forms, from slow “drips” to large amounts they can’t seem to hold, but it is always involuntary, and your dog may not even know it’s happening. Whether your dog struggles with urinary incontinence due to age, illness, or other factors, we have options such as supplements, diapers, and prescription medications to assist in improving their quality of life.

My dog has a urinary bladder problem. He keeps on pissing drop by drop. He is a bit old. I need advice on what medicine can help him
How to handle bowel incontinence in an older dog
Hi there, my 8 year old spayed female dog keeps leaking urine when she is lying relaxing. I have been giving her Cranberry Bladder Bites to try help with kidney and urinary strength but it doesn't seem to be helping. What else can you recommend? May thanks!
My Doberman pincher was diagnosed with urinary incontinence last year. She was prescribed proin 75mg twice a day and after fighting with her to take it for a month I looked for natural ways to help her and I have tried quite a few ones that either didn't work or only worked for a month or two and then stopped. Can you guys recommend something I can try that could work like proin that's natural that I won't need a prescription for? Thank you.
Is there any medication to control my dogs pylori sphincter issue
We got my dog tested and did cultures and finally got rid of her UTI but she still has a little problem with incontinence and I was wondering about the drug proin. I know somebody that had a puppy and the same thing happened and it was put on proin for about a year because their vet said it might take some time for their your readers to become attached to the bladder stronger or too mature more after a year on proin the animal no longer have incontinence
My dog continues to have small bits of incontinence when sleeping or overly excited. At times, small bits of urine will drip on the floor when standing. She’s 1.5 years old and is a terrier mix. She was spared when she was 3 months old at the shelter. Do you have any advice? I have tried all non pharmacological options.
Senior dog has frequent urination & accidents. I was hoping for a medication for this. I know when I take antihistamines my need to urinate is reduced.
Our 13 y.o Jack Russell Terrier has been seen numerous time by local vet, bladder control is an issue and urine leaks causing skin irritation on feet and other areas. Is there any suitable treatment for this specific skin irritation besides improved hygiene of infected skin and clean bedding.
My 3 year old male dog has had frequently urination but small stream and for long lengths of time. He also has a lot of accidents in the house as if he has no control. Vet determined that he had an enlarged bladder. Sent in a bladder sample and everything looked good except for some debris. They prescribed him acepromazin to control urethra spasms and it has me questioning it because of the sedative effects it has and the fact that he is a herding breed and may be a carrier.
