It didn't stop my dog's incontinence, so I'm trying the estrogen option. Depending on how that goes, I may end up using both medications together. I like the once a day dosing of the ER version. I have noticed that descriptions on a lot of websites still say it is a liver-flavored chewable, but it is not. It is an extend release tablet that should not be split or chewed. It is small and I put it in a soft pill pocket so my dog will swallow it without chewing.
