My 21 lb dog was prescribed enrofloxacin. 68mg once every 12 hours. Is that the correct dosage? Its giving her diarrhea. She was also prescribed 2.5 mg of terbutaline and her heart is beating really hard and fast.
Hello! I have the 45mg tablets of Program flea treatment. How many tablets should I give a 100lb dog?
I have a 14 yr old Female Springer Spaniel (spayed) with urinary incontinence problems, and drinks a lot of water. Can Phenylpropanolamine be an effective treatment - and at what dosage for a medium build (45 #) dog?
My 50 pound dog (3 years old, otherwise healthy) ingested two of my 2 mg estradiol pills. Should I be concerned? I was told to post with more detail because the concentration of the pills is important, but I'm not sure what that means in this context. The medication code is NDC 0378-1458-77 if that is helpful.
My 25lb female Terrier mix ate a 75mg Carprofin pill not meant for her. Should I take her to an emergency Vet?
Rx for diarrhea in a dog
Hi. My vet prescribed Propalin for my dog Cruz for leaking urine. I have him on Thrive Bladder support already (pic attached). 1. Are they safe to use together? 2. Are there any natural remedies I can try instead of Propalin? Thanks!
Hello! Per an old vet, I am giving my cat 1/4 a 10mg tab of famotidine daily. Unfortunately, it seems as though it runs out before the 24 hrs and around 3-4 in the morning, she is getting reflux (not all days, but some). Is it possible to give her 1/4 tab in the AM and then again in the PM, to ensure we do not have the gaps? I know I have to take my acid reducer twice a day, but I wanted to ask, and they are 2 hours away. Thank you!
My 1.5yr old queen is very aggressive and strictly against any kind of wound dressing. Since spaying is not an option, a vet prescribed human contraceptive tablets to be given to her (Levonorgestrel 0.15mg, Ethinyloestradiol 0.03mg). He said that 1 whole tablet must be given to her daily. Is this safe for my cat and is the dose prescribed by the vet appropriate?
Vet gave SMZ960 "1 tab twice daily" (960x2) bloody diarrhea. I obeyed but online vet sites say *once* daily. I stopped after 5days . Dog losing interest in finishing food (1st time ever) & losing breath while eating; as if food is not going down. 30 min later, eats more. Diarrhea improving, but after pooping, dog normally jogs home, but layed down as if eliminating wore him out. Last year, had same bloody diarrhea, same vet (don't know prescription), but none of these issues. Thank you.
Angel, 14 year old + my cat, hAs been diagnosed with pancreatitis. Rx budnesodide and ondansatron. Still losing weight, vomiting some, good appetite, loose smelly stools. Please tell me about digestive enzyme product.
