Hello! I have the 45mg tablets of Program flea treatment. How many tablets should I give a 100lb dog?
Vet gave SMZ960 "1 tab twice daily" (960x2) bloody diarrhea. I obeyed but online vet sites say *once* daily. I stopped after 5days . Dog losing interest in finishing food (1st time ever) & losing breath while eating; as if food is not going down. 30 min later, eats more. Diarrhea improving, but after pooping, dog normally jogs home, but layed down as if eliminating wore him out. Last year, had same bloody diarrhea, same vet (don't know prescription), but none of these issues. Thank you.
Bella weights 90 pounds and she has always given by her veterinarian ACEPROMAZINE to help her deal with her fear and anxiety. She always takes 1 tablet/25 mg 60 minutes before she is seen. One tablet seems to do nothing to her, can i give her 1 1/2 tablets of 25 mg.?

Hi tony is on a tumil K supplement. One tablet in the morning and one in evening. My vet clinic is out of stock and backordered on the tablets so they’ve given me a renal k powder instead. Will this be just as effective as the tablets? Thank u
breathing is fine. My vet said to give him 4 and a half 25mg tablets of Diphenhydramine. She acknowledged that this may seem high, but they wanted to give a heads dose at first and later just give 2 and a half tablets if the hives look better. I just wanted to double check the dose. What exactly is Centrine supposed to do? My dog has been ill because he got into something he shouldn't have, but there's no obstruction. He keeps some food down, keeps water down, has appetite, is still playful. Dr. heard lots of gurgling in the stomach/gut area so he was given a shot of Centrine and Ampicillin. He did burp with very little spit up about 2 hours after the injection. Thoughts?

Hi, our dog Guinness had surgery yesterday to remove a cancerous Seminoma tumor under his bladder. I noticed that after he took his antibiotic this morning- Clavamox 375mg in tablet form- he didn't seem like himself for half an hour to an hour. Very lethargic and didn't want to get up. Before that he was up and walking, urinated, ate and drank. He's eaten, drank water and used the bathroom since as well, but is 375mg the correct dosage for a 40lb dog? Thank you!
My 16 lb Havanese ate 60 Renal Support tablets that were for my cat. What will happen?
My German Shepherd mixed breed is around 13. (Pound dog - exact age unknown.) He is being treated fro a suspected pinched nerve in his back. The Vet suggested routine blood work. Two markers in the Catalyst Dx section were high. ALT was 180 U/L (normal 10-125) and ALKP was 492 U/L (normal 23-212). She said to help his liver he should get Denamarin 425 mg, one pill per day. It is very expensive. I have no reason to doubt her integrity or competence, but.... Do you agree?
