My dog has been on proin for a few years now. She was diagnosed at 4 months old with urinary incontinence. This has been our saving grace!!!

Please do your research and speak to your vet before giving this. I gave one dose to my dog over the weekend and we almost lost her. Within 2 hours, we were at the emergency clinic. The emergency vet said this is a ongoing issue with this medication and has killed several dogs.

I use PetCo because I receive the Proin in the manufacturer’s prescription containers. I used another website and it seems the medication was counted out from the stock, placed in their own container, and was not as effective.

The overall cost was half of what my vet had been charging us! This is a huge cost savings. Also, the prescription couldn't be approved electronically between the vet and Petco so I had to send a hard copy of the prescription next day mail. We receive our dog's needed prescription in less than a week from ordering, mailing prescription, and then receiving the meds. We are very happy with the price and the speed of getting the initial order.

Petco doubled the price of my dog's medicine from 5 months ago. The Petco representative had no explanation.
