As a cat parent, you know your kitty loves sitting in window perches, wall shelves, and anywhere that gives them a height advantage. Our curious felines also love windows because they need visual stimulation to maintain their energy. For indoor cats, window perches can be the best way to help them feel like they’re part of the action. Whether they like to watch birds fly by, or take a sunny cat nap, these window perches and wall shelves might just be their favorite spot in the house.
Cats love natural sunlight and the stimulation of watching birds, swaying trees, and other activities happening outside. The window perch gives them a front row seat to all of this excitement.
That depends! If the shelf is for perching, it can just be as long as your cat. But if your kitty wants to nap on the shelf, it should be able to support them while fully stretched out in a snooze position. Check the shelf dimensions of each product if you’re unsure.
Cat window perches are a safer alternative than the outdoors for most cats. They get all the stimulation they require, while enjoying all the comforts of indoor cat life.

My cats chew and shred paper and cardboard incessantly. Help!
My cat is super active at night for a few days, she keeps scratching the sofa and running around. She is spayed. We have two scratching cardboards and a cat tree for her. We just moved to a new apartment for 3 weeks and she seems accommodating quite well for the new environment.
Hi. Since Oliver is the only cat here and I can't afford to have another cat, how do I make him happy and safe as an indoor outdoor kitty?
How can I get my cat more comfortable when I have visitors over? I have Feliway plugged in and I don't have loud parties, but my terrified cat spent many hours in my box spring when a friend came over recently for a short visit. This always happens.
Introducing two cats to a cat and dog household. Would the defusers for cat and dog work together if on at the same time or counteract each other?
My cat has a sore on his upper lip and one under his chin i believe its from him having a plastic water dish what can i do to heal them? I attached two photos of the one on his lip
Hi. I'm freaking out because I just noticed these small light tan colored things on my bed where our cat has been sleeping (she's always inside
Hi, I'm going to move with my 8-months-old kitten in a couple of days and the trip will take over 5-6 hours. I've decided to use Beaphar products. What is it better to use to reduce the stress - the collar or the drops? And is there any product from that brand to help stranger cats get along?
My kitten breed is not known how should I find out its breed and does different breeds have different lifestyle?
He has a very dry and cracked paw and sometimes when he jumps off the counter tops or any other high surface he'll keep his paw raised for a bit. He also gets black bits dried around his nose all the time.
We found out our 6 month old ragdoll was peeing in the bathtub which is less than 1 metre from the litter box. We then covered the bathtub with a glass table top and he seems to still jump up and pee on top when we're not around. He drinks plenty of water and eats fine and is on a very good diet. Could this just be his habit or are there any recommendations as we were thinking of getting him a second litter box and putting it on top of the bath. Any suggestions or help please. Thankyou.
I currently own a cat and I brung home a new cat two days ago and I keep him in my room so they can only smell each other from under the door but the cat that I already had has been furiously attacking at his own tail and hiding under beds and blankets I would like to know if this is normal or I should take him to the vet to get him checked.
