got 2 kitties 1 is 22 lbs other is 8, they need a window seat, I live way out in the country no shops, last 1 I bought was lousy, do you know of a good one, thank you so much for your time
I've moved and to get my cat acclimated I've decided I'm going to crate him while we are working. The crate i have is 42"x28"x30", with a dual level. Will this be enough space for my cat? He is 14y/o, and will be crated for 6-8 hours 5 days a week for a few weeks, until he gets used to the area. Of course he'll be inside the house, and let out in the evenings and sometimes for a bit on lunchtime.
I am going to purchase a cat bed for my cat soon, I wanted to take a proffesional's advise on where to place my cat bed (please look at attached photos). My cat's favourite place to nap and relax is either the bed or the cat tree, recently the bed more. When shes not napping, she spends time at the kitchen window watching birds and people walking. Otherwise she's playing and running around with her toys.
My kitten likes to scratch my wooden chair, doors, and occasionally the door frames. I bought her a wooden cat scratcher with catnip and all she does is bite, sleeps, and lays on it. Do you have any recommendations on what would be a good scratching post? Sisal rope, Sisal carpet, and etc?
Hi, I posted a question earlier today asking for advice on where I should place my cat's new bed, in which the doctor suggested by the kitchen's window right next to the sink. It's been there all day now, I poured some catnip into the bed, put some treats in it, but everytime I put Raven on the bed she instantly jumps off and out of it. Haven't sat in it once. She still lays down on my bed. Please check photos for clarification.
My very large male cat has trouble getting intout his litter pan.. Do you know where I can get a large, very large pan?
Our cat is chewing up our furniture and expensive handmade blankets. He can chew a cardboard box down to nothing. He also drools a lot. We are desperate for solutions.
We have an occasional nocturnal feline visitor who sleeps on our patio to stay dry. We cannot bring this car inside, as we have a greyhound and Siamese and our apartment complex in Philadelphia, PA allows only two pets. Other than offering food and a warm blanket, how can we help this cat? Mr. and Mrs. Harry Mock
We recently replaced the carpeting in our house with hardwood floors. My 13-year-old healthy cat likes to jump up/down the furniture and shelves and I worry that the impact of the landings is hard on his joints. Should I buy rugs for him to land on? If so, what products would be helpful?
Can you please suggest the best litter box for an adult (121/2) years old who is blind in left eye, right eye is fuzzy...Lucy has been suffering with mobility issues especially with left hind leg. I appreciate any feedback and suggestions
Hi! We have this cat room (pictures attached) because they don't get along with Pharah. Is the cat room okay? We can't really afford any cat "furniture" right now or the doggy gates so we have a long chair in front. Dog doesn't go there and cats can still see the living room. Is the placement of food (on top of the table) and litter (under table next to each other) good? Should we add more things to the room? Also they only go out of the room when dog is away, like walks.
I am a nanny to an infant that I watch in my home. I have 3 cats. My cats are kept in a spacious sunroom that is separated by the rest of the house by a large sliding glass door. Initially the cats were fine to be in there, with toys, food, a litter box etc..., but after a few days being in the sunroom from 9-4, my cats that usually sleep ALL DAY LONG are wakeful/meowing. My oldest, age 8 has been the most difficult. I take breaks to go in there and hold her but she is stressed. Pls advise.
