Wonderful shelf
This shelf was a breeze to install, and feels sturdy/well made. The moment we installed it, my cats were all over it! I don't think I've seen my furbabies so happy! The carpet is even detachable for any accidents (yet strong enough that my cat's furious clawing doesn't undo the velcro).

How does this attach to the wall since wall studs are generally spaced 16 or 24 inches apart and I'm guessing both ends of the perch need secured to the wall? Also, I have a 13 lb. Persian. How much weight can the perch hold?
- The holes in the shelf are 16" apart. If installed into a stud, there should not be an issue supporting 50 lbs.
