Can this shelf be installed so that the right side is higher.......left side lower? In other words install using both the front side or back side?
- No. I do like the shelf and it does hold large cats. My 17lb girl loves to hang out on it. I did not use the fluffy cover, instead I have a carpet material on it.

I live in an apartment, should I put up a shelf for my cat? She is declawed is it necessary to get a scratch post?
My cat’s got a cat tree that’s 2m tall. She sleeps on the highest bit. Her food bowl is on the second highest level. And her water fountain is on the floor. She doesn’t play with the tree or outside of it at all. she only climbs it to sleep and eat. She was a bit overweight before she got the tree and now I’ve noticed she’s lost weight she looks more fit. Could the weight loss be simply because she’s been having to climb to sleep and eat?

My kitten likes to scratch my wooden chair, doors,and occasionally the door frames. I bought her a wooden cat scratcher with catnip and all she does is bite, sleeps, and lays on it. Do you have any recommendations on what would be a good scratching post? Sisal rope, Sisal carpet, and etc?
I am building my cat a cat tree, using a branch from a tree for part of it. My question is is there anything I can use on the wood, or the branch that would be cat safe? Gibbs my new 1yr old cat, he's familiar with the pink round platform ball trackor on the left. Because he had one to play with at the Northshore Animal League. At 1st he's would pounce the scratch not understanding he could scratch it as well, until I pour a little catnip on it..its organic, but wondering if it's alright brand?
