got 2 kitties 1 is 22 lbs other is 8, they need a window seat, I live way out in the country no shops, last 1 I bought was lousy, do you know of a good one, thank you so much for your time
I am going to purchase a cat bed for my cat soon, I wanted to take a proffesional's advise on where to place my cat bed (please look at attached photos). My cat's favourite place to nap and relax is either the bed or the cat tree, recently the bed more. When shes not napping, she spends time at the kitchen window watching birds and people walking. Otherwise she's playing and running around with her toys.
Hi, I posted a question earlier today asking for advice on where I should place my cat's new bed, in which the doctor suggested by the kitchen's window right next to the sink. It's been there all day now, I poured some catnip into the bed, put some treats in it, but everytime I put Raven on the bed she instantly jumps off and out of it. Haven't sat in it once. She still lays down on my bed. Please check photos for clarification.
How do you a stop your cat from climbing the window?
My kitten likes to scratch my wooden chair, doors,and occasionally the door frames. I bought her a wooden cat scratcher with catnip and all she does is bite, sleeps, and lays on it. Do you have any recommendations on what would be a good scratching post? Sisal rope, Sisal carpet, and etc?
I have an indoor cat who was once an indoor/outdoor cat. Her favorite thing in the world now is sitting in a sunny window all day. So it would feel cruel to take this from her. But so would exposing her ears to harmful UV rays. Is there a sunscreen safe enough to use on a cat's ears?
So I took in a stray that is at least five years old and has rather obviously had it rough. I am keeping him segregated and also set up a cat condo for him in said room, which he tends to stay in, sleeping (the condo, I mean). I bought him this nice, plush self warming bed that he is absolutely rejecting. Seriously, he'd rather sleep on bare floor than this bed. But he'll rub on it and lean against it to sleep. Why does my guy hate his bed? *note, I have provided him with soft blankets he loves.

We have an occasional nocturnal feline visitor who sleeps on our patio to stay dry. We cannot bring this car inside, as we have a greyhound and Siamese and our apartment complex in Philadelphia, PA allows only two pets. why do a cat's sense of comfort make no sense? I am literally spoiling my cat here, he has free access to my bed, has a very soft sofa, it's own little pillow house, and he will rather sleep on the flat hard surface of the kitchen counter! Is my cat just weird or what? I have tried to place him in the pillow house, but I think he sees it as a cage like or something, he was briefly in there father placing a bit of catnip in there, but few mins later he was gone from there.
