Really sturdy and elegant looking. Sort of looks like a cool art piece on the wall. Cats immediately loved it. It is carpeted and that makes a difference. Our cat definitely looks regal looking down on his subjects.

Nice piece of sturdy furniture. Design fits in and doesn’t look tacky. Wood is solid. Has to be hung in studs. Very satisfied with look and design.

Is the carpeting on top soft? How soft is it on a scale of microfiber blanket to regular carpeting?
- No, it's not plush. It's more like regular carpeting, but our cats love it because they sharpen their nails on it. You also don't see the carpeting unless you're looking at the shelf from above.
