Whether you’re a new pet parent to a bearded dragon or simply looking to upgrade their habitat, Petco has all the terrariums and tanks you need. To start, consider the size of the enclosure you want to purchase. Baby bearded dragons can live in smaller tanks, such as a 20 gallon habitat, but make sure you upgrade the size of their environment as they grow, as bearded dragons reach full maturity within their first year (their average adult size is 24 inches long).
At least once a week you should place your pet in a separate, secure enclosure so you can clean their tank. The entire tank should be emptied, scrubbed, rinsed and refreshed with new substrate.
The size of your bearded dragon’s tank depends on the size of your pet. Bearded dragons can grow up to 24 inches, and you’ll want them to have plenty of room to move around their enclosure.
To properly set up a bearded dragon tank, you will need substrate, hideaway spots, heating and lighting, and more. Review our bearded dragon care sheet for everything you need to know.
Yes, and we have plenty of spacious glass terrariums for bearded dragons for sale here at Petco. Keep in mind that male bearded dragons should live alone in their enclosure, and no bearded dragon should ever live amongst other reptiles.
At Petco we have a wide variety of habitat accessories for your bearded dragon’s terrarium. Read our bearded dragon care sheet for details.

I have a fancy bearded dragon that is almost one now. When I first purchased him we got a 10 gal tank and he seems to be getting bigger. Do you think if I purchase a 40 gal tank he’ll be set for a year or two? Thank you.
When should I upgrade my bearded dragons tank? He’s in a 40 gal right now and he is about 15 inches long. Thank you!
Is my set up for my bearded dragon good? (See attachment)
Hi! We recently got a juvenile bearded dragon and I just want to make sure i’m doing enough for them. unsure of age or sex. Attached are photos of the dimensions of their enclosure, as well as the description of the bulb we are using. I leave a bowl of water in her enclosure as well as let her soak once a week (the water is conditioned with repti-safe). we feed her crickets daily and she always has a bowl of fresh veg available. (ALL food dusted with calcium/vitamin D3 supplement)
Hi! I was wondering what reptile/amphibian/insect/arachnid I can keep in a medium eco terra faunarium? (Roughly 7.5 x 12 inches)
Hi guys I'm wondering if anyone can help with a concern I have with my bearded dragon. I'd love to hear various opinions so any advice I really appreciate. I got a bearded dragon two weeks ago. He's 3 months old and his tank is large I don't know the exact measurements. He has a climbing log and the basking lamp is 50 watt and the tank is 30 degrees celsius. He also has the rest of the tank that's cooler. I mist him everyday although I'm aware some people don't recommend that but I only have him
I take my bearded dragon out of her tank and set her on the floor to walk around. If I set her anywhere near her tank she starts to glass surf but on the outside. The temperatures in the tank are correct and my room is pretty warm and she does it almost right away. If I set her across the room she doesn't do it until she gets closer and spots it. I don't know why she does it on the outside though?
Can i give my Bearded Dragon a bath when he gets older? What do they prefer to eat? What activities do they like most?
