Terrible tank and accessories.

The bulb lasted 1 month, literally. To the exact day. Glass chipped the day I bought it. PetSmart/zoo med is a joke.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Not good!!

The ONLY thing that’s decent in this tank and proper for a bearded dragon is the tank it’s self. The lighting is not sufficient, the sand is not safe, the dishes are huge for a juvenile, and the food it comes with is not good for your animal!

No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought this 3 weeks ago and already replaced everything in it the lights wouldn’t keep it heated enough and the bowls allowed crickets to hide in the bottom and the sand is not good for a bearded dragon .

No, I do not recommend this product.

DO NOT BUY!

Do not buy this product! I have had to replace literally every single part of this kit besides the bowls. None of it is good for a bearded dragon, and I should have researched more thoroughly before buying the kit! I have since upgraded every aspect, and hope that my beardie will thrive in it's new environment.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Waste of money

I got this a few weeks back… I had to change the lamp and lights, heat light wasn’t heating the tank well and the uvb light was making my baby beardie ill. The screen on the tank is damaged too the seal keeps popping out every time wr open and close it.. overall it’s a waste of money. Would have been less stress and cheaper to just buy the stuff individually.

No, I do not recommend this product.

All wrong for a beardie. Size, substrate, lights— not correct

Don't do it!

Do not buy this for your bearded dragon! Complete waste of money as you will have to replace everything besides the dishes. The bulbs aren't the correct ones to use. The carpet is not safe to use as it holds massive amounts of bacteria and is harmful to your new beardie. The food samples are useless as most beardies won't eat it. Save your money, definitely do your research and buy the proper stuff you need. Lesson learned.

No, I do not recommend this product.

does this kit include a humidity gauge?

  1. For some reason PetCo sent me an email asking to answer this question. The answer is no. It does not come with a humidity gauge. It came with a temperature gauge that does not work very well, so I would get a good gauge that does both if you want to get this kit. Or get two different gauges for temp and humidity.

how much gallons is it

If I buy this kit for a Juvie, what other supplies will I need?

    1. None

    What’s in the kit?

is it a good starter kit and should i upgrade it

      1. Yes it's a great starter kit for a juvenile dragon I would start with the 20 Gallon kit then once fully grown upgrade to 40 gallon

Can I use this for a tortoise?

Would this tank work for 2 leopard geckos?

        1. I believe it wouldn't but it depends on whether their adults or babies, if it's a setup for babies than yes, if it's for adults then I think it's a 40 gallon minimum. Make sure you quarantine them for 2 weeks, if they have parasites than it could spread to other reptiles (if you have any.) Also if you get 2 leopard gecko's from 2 different places than only 1 has to be quarantined for 2 weeks before their introduced to each other. But to short answer, If it's 2 adults than no, but if it's 2 baby's than you can probably get away with it. just make sure you upgrade their tank when they turn about 1 year old (that's when they become adults) and make sure you do extensive research on co-habing Leo's

Would this be okay if getting 2 baby Spotted leopard geckos?

        1. Yes, you probably could get away with it, just make sure they get along well and that they both eat food because sometimes they'll lay on top of eachother as a sign of dominance and they'll eat all the food on the other one. Do extensive research on it first

If I am moving tanks do I use the same size under tank heater of do I use a different size

        1. Bearded Dragons don't require under tank heaters. They need basking lights and Uv lighting.

Can I use this as an aquarium or for turtles?

        1. Not recommended for water but if land turtles yes.
