The carpet grows bacteria,the coil uv bulb causes UV burns,and the analog thermometer is inaccurate and lastly the heat doesn’t produce enough! Leopard geckos should get better.

Bought this about 3 weeks ago. Very cheep do not recommend. Had to buy more bulbs, they did not get hot enough. Thermometer was cheep so first bought another one to make sure the lights weren't heating up enough, had 3 in there at one time with the original lights and wouldn't get the tank about 70. Bought bigger bulbs and seem to be a little warmer. the basking cave is very cheep plastic. Just not worth the money at all.

Too small! For any lizard

I would give it a 0 star if I could! I did not buy the cage I never will and that's because a 10 gallon tank is to small for a leopard gecko or beard dragon or really any type of lizard I would at least get a 20 gallon tank for a leopard gecko and a 54 gallon tank for a bearded dragon. A 10 gallon tank is way to small they could have other problems in the future if u keep them in this cage. But this advertisement is for leopard geckos and leopard geckos do not use basking lights they use heating pads that go under the tank also they need three hides and I could go on and on but just do ur research before buying a animal I have seen some sad lizards that were not taking care of right so now they have bone disease from being into small of a cage or they were missing toes or limes so please just do it research.

The kit is attractive at first glance, but not really worth it. I chose it cause it had two light fixtures, but it’s not enough heat at all, and I live in Central Texas. The bulbs just aren’t enough heat. So go buy a tank and a bigger light fixture with more bulbs. The quality is there but I didn’t save any money by getting a kit. I could have bought the tank half price at petco and got zilla products cause I like them they work just not enough for the size tank it is. Should have read the reviews more in depth. But I’m not totally disappointed just save your money and build your own.

would this be good for a corn snake?

does the lightbulbs produce enough heat for a baby or an adult leopard gecko? I read that nothing less than a 75w lightbulb should be used.

Generally a 50watt bulb would be sufficient in a small tank of that size, but it ultimately will depend on the ambient room temp and any air currents around the tank that might cool the tank off quicker. If the room is on the cooler size, upper 60’s to low 70’s (72 F), it may require a slightly larger bulb for the daytime heat. Night time is generally much cooler than the day. I bought this for my bearded dragon...Is this light it comes with the UVB light or the basking light??I know the other one is the black light for night time..Trying to see which other light I need to go buy him,He has to have 3 lights
