does the lightbulbs produce enough heat for a baby or an adult leopard gecko? I read that nothing less than a 75w lightbulb should be used.
- Hi! We appreciate you messaging to us. Generally a 50watt bulb would be sufficient in a small tank of that size, but it ultimately will depend on the ambient room temp and any air currents around the tank that might cool the tank off quicker. If the room is on the cooler size, upper 60’s to low 70’s (72 F), it may require a slightly larger bulb for the daytime heat. Night time is generally much cooler than the day. I bought this for my bearded dragon...Is this light it comes with the UVB light or the basking light??I know the other one is the black light for night time..Trying to see which other light I need to go buy him,He has to have 3 lights
- Hello, thanks for reaching out. This particular kit does not include UVB, it includes (2) incandescent bulbs. If you are using it for a beardie, you will need to get an additional fixture and UVB bulb. Enjoy!

- Hi there! The 10 gallon Zilla Critter cage can house hatchling leopard geckos. However, adult leopard geckos require a minimum of a 20L Zilla Critter Cage.

- No, Zilla tanks are not meant to hold water.

- no this will only last for a month or two for a dragon they grow fast and the lights do not go above 80 this is a terrible product in general and for a dragon that is a for sure no!

Hi there. So I am looking into getting a heat dome for my crested gecko. I know they don’t have to have a heat lam but I want him to have a UVB bulb Because it’s good for them. But I am not quite sure that type to get. Any suggestions? I was looking at petco’s tropical combo pack. He lives in a 10 g. With live plant. (I will upgrade when he is bigger) also do you know an age on him? I got him 3 months ago from petsmart. I could tell he was a male a week after I got him. (Pic from yesterday)
SO i am thinking about getting a leopard gecko, but i am not spending a ridiculous amount of money on a cage so i am using a plastic laundrey hamper that seems about maybe 10 gallons and i am setting up little hiddy spots and stuff but i dont know wha tbeedding i should use and how much light they need please hep :)
Is this a good setup for Nighthawk, the first photo is the over all setup, the second one is the side view and the third is the water and calcium dishes. I use an under tank heater that stays at about 88 degrees Fahrenheit and the vines are fake. He has a warm hide and a cold hide with moss in it that’s i spray down every other day. The little box is another little hide that I can see him in. And the background is tile it paper rolls that were painted(they were left to dry for two weeks)

Hi, my hatchling red foot tortoise has a problem with keeping his eyes open for very long, he hasn't been eating as much as usual and when he closes his eyes I have to soak him in water to get him to open them back up. When his eyes close it almost looks like they are crusty. I have a cypress mulch and jungle mix substrate in his cage which is about 4 inches at the highest and 1 inch in his basking are but it's kept well watered. Thank You!
Can Betta fish tank have sand from river?
She always sleeping or out of sight . I rarely see her out and when I do it’s been early in the mornings or I’ll hear her on her wheel a few minutes at night.. she lives in a 40 gallon breeder tank that’s got great venalation and chew toys,treats,sand bath, etc everything she could ever want!. I am about to get a crested gecko and have done lots of research, but am nervous I'll kill my crestie. You see, lots of people have different opinions about additional lighting. 1 breeder said a heat lamp killed many of his crested geckos, while another breeder said it killed her geckos when they DIDNT have a heat lamp. Should I get a heat lamp? (My tank is a 12 by 12 by 18, of that helps at all) Also, should that size tank be good for 1 crested gecko for his entire life?
