Mice can easily chew threw the mesh

I bought this yesterday and last nice my mouse escaped, my mouse easily jumped up to the lid and chewed a hole through the mesh to escape, this is not a good cage for mice.
No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought this for my male teddy bear hamster 2 years ago and he bit thru the mesh and escaped, we haven’t found him in 2 years. It is also very noisy at night

I bought this in store. The lid was great and it is sturdy. The plastic warped slightly over time but it doesn't effect it overall.

Good average run of the mill cage. Nothing special. But is a good item for a first time reptile keeper with a small animal on a budget. Would not any bearded dragons, leopard geckos, or corn snakes. Good size for house gecko, anoles, or insects.

I have a crested gecko. Right now he is in a Zilla Vertical 12x12x18 cage with a screen on top and door opening in front. He is 6 months old, seems happy. wondering would it be more beneficial to him to place him in a 20x10x14. as he is growing but tiny.

Would this work for a baby sand boa?
- Hi there! As babies, they can start out in a Zilla 20L Front Opening Terrarium or Zilla 10G Critter Cage. It’s important to remember that as they grow and develop, they will require larger accommodations. Males are smaller than females but both sexes can live their lives comfortably in a Zilla 20L Front Opening Terrarium. Large adult female Sand Boas will do best in Zilla 40BR Front Opening Terrarium or Zilla 40BR Critter Cage.

- Definitely not. Chameleons need vertical space. Research chameleon needs before buying one please.

can i use for my male pacman frog, they do not need verticle tanks all of the questions answered for this it was not helpful, I think this might be perfect but im not sure.
- yes it’s perfect for juvenile horned frogs or adult males, if you get a fully grown female maybe you could look into one slightly bigger but even then they would still be happy with proper care

Can someone explain why a 10 gallon tank is $20, but this 10 gallon tank with a screen top is almost $50?
- This ‘tank’ is meant to be used as a terrarium to securely close at top to prevent critter from escaping. I have a rescued deer mouse in mine. Maine woods habitat. He’s a jumper but hides in his nest when I go in to do housekeeping …secure screen keeps my cats out too! I’d pay double the cost for it… worth every cent.

Would this tank be good for a baby water turtle?
- no it's not meant to hold much water at all. it almost looks like super glue keeping the sides sealed together. Maybe like a few inches of water would be okay but nothing more than that
