I'm having a hard time deciding between Fromm kibble and honest kitchen dehydrated dog food. I think honest kitchen is an excellent food but it's a little pricey. Is their a better choice here? Please explain? (The honest kitchen food is not raw but cooked at 165 degrees.)
We have four dogs at home. One is eating Science Diet, two The Honest Kitchen and a puppy on loyall from breeder. We took puppy to training and they tried switching her fully from loyall to the honest kitchen and she was pooping a lot. So they went back to loyall. We just picked her up from training. I am trying to decide if I should try science diet puppy or switch her over to the honest kitchen and deal with her pooping all the time on it. What is best? Science diet or honest kitchen?
can i give my yorkie herbal gastrointestional supplement from Honest Kitchen to aid with pancreatitis? or what kind of supplement can I give her to help? (digestion supplements?)
I'm in the process of switching my dog over to the honest kitchen dehydrated dog food. So far she is doing fine but I've read some reviews that said their dog was having more frequent bowel movements and that the stool was larger with bits of undigested food in it. Is this normal or would this be something to be concerned about? So far she has only been in this food for a few days. Please explain, thanks!
This question is for david elezbeth: Is 30-50% carbs an appropriate amount in dog food? I just started my dog on honest kitchen dehydrated dog food and these are the typical range in carbs. Is this to much? Also some reviewers have posted that their dog had more voluminous stool and went more frequently with bits of food still present in the stool. Is this normal? Chloe seems to be doing fine but I am noticing the bits of food in her stool. Is this ok to continue with this food?
I don’t know what to do about my new dog, because I am feeding him super expensive fancy food. But he’s still having upset tummy. These poops tonight are upsetting. I don’t know what to do . He has thrown up 3 times this week but it was after he ate grass. And his poops are no good. He’s eating Grainfree honest kitchen
Hi. One of my 2 cats will not stay off the kitchen counter. Whenever I walk in kitchen he is always by my side. I can’t even eat or cook anymore because he is all over the food. Please Help!
My cat wants to constantly lick the kitchen facet and is interested in water constantly. What should I do?
We have a 14 year old cat that suddenly stopped using the litter box. She now goes on the floor in the kitchen and we can't figure out why. Any suggestions?

Hi -My 5yr old Sheltie just has his annual exam. The only problem seems to be high cholesterol of 520. He has been eating Honest Kitchen Base mix plus we add 93% fat free protein. Rocky is appears to be healthy other than panting a lot which we think is because he is a very anxious dog and he urinates about average. We plan on upping his protein to 97% fat free and adding Viva Fish Oil and retest in 2 months. Do you think a Thyroid and/or Adrenal test is necessary first?
Atlas is a well bred boy, however he has an appetite that is insatiable, and cannot stay a healthy weight no matter how much he eats. We have had him on raw, honest kitchen, Iams. Rice/chicken cooked daily and he is always thin with protruding hip bones and little tissue on his head too. His current vet put him on prednisone daily for some issues he was having with heavy mucus buildup and he is currently tapered down to half a tablet a day. If I stop the predator he looses weight quickly.
