I'm having a hard time deciding between Fromm kibble and honest kitchen dehydrated dog food. I think honest kitchen is an excellent food but it's a little pricey. Is their a better choice here? Please explain? (The honest kitchen food is not raw but cooked at 165 degrees.)
How to make dog food for my 6 lb dog.
This is Kyro, my 1st dog I've had for 7 months. In 7 months he went from 75lbs to 85. Was feeding 2 cups twice daily of "Diamond All Natural Beef Meal & Rice" with piece of Roast Beef with a teaspoon of some kind of gravy & 1 Milkbone, 1 bully stick, 2 Grain fee treats daily. I cut back to 1 cup with Roast beef twice daily. I don't want to starve him but I want to keep his defined stomach. He won't eat unless the Roast beef & gravy is in his food. Bag of food says 4 cups daily. Any suggestions?
I have decided to prepare Nala's food at home as opposed to store bought dog food. What would I need to add to a recipe containing following: Beef Liver 3lbs Lamb Hearts 2lbs Beef Tripe 1lb Ground Chicken 5 lbs Water - as need to incorporate beef stew bones 3lbs Brussel Sprouts .5 lb Butternut Squash 1lb Pink Himalayan Salt- 1 tbl I did cook all of this, although I know that raw is better, and then ground it all together.
All my dogs are breaking out in small hives and I know itโs from the dog food that has chicken in it. What dog food is the best that has only beef and NO chicken?
I need help finding a dog food for Flash, who I got 8 months ago. He keeps having gas and very loose stools. He's been on Hillโs Prescription Diet Digestive Care i/d since May 27 & is doing well, but I want to go to a regular dry dog food. I've tried 1. Ziwi Peak Air-Dried Venison Dog โ terrible gas 2. Royal Canin Veterinary Diet Selected Protein Adult PD fed to my old Norwich, Flash did OK 3. Merrick Limited Ingredient Diet Grain Free Duck & Sweet Potato โ loose stools & gas. Suggest a dry food
What is the best food to feed a 55-pound highly active hound? I was told to switch to grain free, but her stool has been mucous like and runny. I've tried Redford Naturals Limited Ingredient (I've tried chicken, beef, sweet potato) and American Journey Limited ingredient (lamb). Just looking to find the best dog food for a very active hound that won't break the bank. Also, I'm concerned with all this news of heart problems linked with specific foods.

Dogs on canned food with dry food. Want them on dry food only. Very picky dogs. Thinking for their transition blending freeze dried bully mini cubes to make a yummy powder on top. A youtuber names Simpatico recommended for finicky dogs (liver treats) but how and when can I fade that out? Thinking just a table spoon or so the most on the food
