These base mixes are my dog's absolute favorite combined with a raw diet. He usually goes for the base mix first, unless there's a tasty sardine waiting for him :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a Yorkie and 2 Shih Tzu’s. They love this food. I mix the base mix with the protein usually chicken, turkey or beef. I get 3 little impatient dogs jumping around me waiting for their meal. I guess I don’t move fast enough for them. I highly recommend this food along with all the dehydrated recipes which I also buy for the days I need a quick meal.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My senior Lhasa Apso is allergic to everything AND is a picky eater. 🤦🏼‍♀️ It has been a nightmare trying to find food he can eat that is high quality, but that I can also afford. I also have a senior cattle dog, so food costs add up in a hurry! BOTH dogs LOVE this food and come running when they hear me open the box. I get it hydrating while I give them their meds, then top it off with canned rabbit and the scarf it right down without fail! What a relief and a blessing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our dog looks forward to his meal times and quickly eats the entire meal. He loves meal times. We are happy that this food seems to agree with his system and has better bowl movements eating this food.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stuff is the only food that keeps my 10 year old English lab from getting pancreatitis flare ups. All fresh food.

How many cups of this is in a pound? Or 3 pound bag? 7 pound bag?

  1. Hello! Thanks for your question. Each pound of food will be equivalent to about 4 cups, give or take. So a 3-pound bag would be around 12-14 cups, a 7-pound bag would be about 28-30 cups, and so on. I hope this helps!
