I am getting an 8 week Cocker Spaniel. I am not new to Cocker Spaniel, just puppy versions. I want to try a new food for her, and need suggestions. I did research & came across these dry foods: Merrick Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Merrick Limited Ingredient Grain Free Real Salmon+Sweet Potato, Taste of Wild Pacific Stream Grain Free Smoked Salmon, Taste of Wild Appalachian Valley Small Bree’s Grain after Roasted Venison. Are any of those good, if so which one? Want to stay chicken free.
Hello sir/madam, I have two female dogs one is gsd which is 13 months old and the second one is 7months Rottweiler. Kindly suggest me a dog food which is suitable for both dogs and also available in Pakistan. Is taste of the wild is best for them?
I have a German Shepherd and she is one month old. I am really unsure what dry food to get her. What is better: Purina Pro focus, Blue Wilderness, American journey, or taste of the wild? Should I get grain-free and large breed? If any other ones are suggested let me know.
Hi, what is the best puppy food for my 5-month-old puppy? He seems to have a sensitive stomach. Had mild diarrhea almost constantly with Diamond puppy food and then we switched to Taste of the Wild he vomited and horrible diarrhea. We went to chicken and rice, was great with firm poops, now we are transitioning to Wellness puppy chicken, and diarrhea is starting again.
Hi! I am considering changing Addy’s food over to Taste of the Wild High Prairee puppy food. It’s grain free and has lean proteins and a 28% protein content. Currently she is on Blue Buffalo large breed puppy food that has whole grains. She is experience soft stool in the evening. I believe this may be from her food? Blue Buffalo is chicken based, and she does drink lots of water. She just had a vet appt, no presence of parasites in her stool. Any recommendations?
Hi, I have a male GSD 6 years old in very good health. He is fed twice a day with Taste of the Wild. However, within the last month he has to poop 4-5 times a day. The poop diameter is small. It's firm, no diarrhea. Also the amount is small. Could he have developed a blockage or God forbid a growth in his bowel? We are going to take him to the vet next week. I'm very concerned. Thank you so much Brian
I have a question about a recent dog food switch I made with my 3 year old pup. She was eating Taste of the Wild High Prairie for over a year and a half but I recently switched her to Purina Pro Plan due to the recent backlash against "grain-free" food. She's been eating the new food for about 2 weeks and the only thing I've noticed is she's been really preoccupied with eating grass/weeds/plants when walking her. Could she be not getting enough nutrients that she was getting with the old food
My two year old black lab has a very sensitive stomach & terrible skin allergies. He is currently eating Taste of the Wild Pacific Stream. I don’t believe this is working for him because he has terrible gas, frequent itching & licking despite taking an allergy medication, & very loose stool. I’ve been told to switch him to a limited ingredient diet, but I don’t know what brand to use. I am also concerned about peas/lentils can affect a dog’s heart.
He keeps licking a hot spot until it bleeds. Only way to stop it is the Cone of Shame, but we have to remove it occasionally. Is there something we can apply to the area to make taste so bad he won't lick it?
My GS mix 2+yrs old has issues expressing her glands. We feed Taste of the Wild. Fed twice/day. When she was a puppy we added pumpkin to firm up her poo and it helped, about a Tbsp give or take. In last 6 months she has been having issues w/anal glands & we have taken her twice for expression at vet & I think she is needing it again. We give baby carrots, 2-3 daily as treats. I want to resolve this vs buying something to add to her food, any suggestions? Is she getting too much fiber?
Sir according to me, i think my pet had banned her regular food (chicken with rice, pedigree, fish, egg) because she got the taste of curry kfc grilled chicken, from that day she refuses to eat. I think thats why she banned all her regular food, so tell me sir can be this is a reason for ignoring food.
I got Luna neutered just yesterday and it seems to have helped with the peeing so far (yay) but now he’s a bit of a wild child tearing through the house like a speed demon. Not being a bad cat at all just way more energetic.
