The Best Food For My Sheltie

MomofShelties

I have been using this specific food for my sheltie for a months. I decided to change it up and bought him something else. What a mistake! I switched back to Taste of the Wild and what a difference. He's more active and alert. He really likes the food too. No stomach issues either. All in all it's the best food for my sheltie.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Not sure why you'd put chicken in this.

My dog has been on the Lamb version of this food (with and without grains) on and off for 10 years. Recently, there has been a shortage of lamb foods (across all brands) in my city. I was silly to assume I could just grab this food without reading the label (after having trust in this brand for so long) - and think that this food did not contain chicken meal. It wasn't until my dog was pooping blood that I finally looked at the ingredients. A dumb mistake on my part, but disappointed that there is more chicken meal than bison or venison in this food. I would pay more for better quality if that were an option. Please consider.
