We just had our dog Ladybug spayed on Tuesday. We started to notice huge deep red bruises developing around the mammary area after the first couple of days, and now that bruising has spread down her thighs. They said her bloodwork was fine, and her gums looked good. Bathroom breaks normal, behavior perky, seemingly normal, with sparatic lethargy. Pain pills are working. What are these bruises, and what may have caused them during surgery?
My cat got into fight last week and she used to lick the wounds so I put cone 3 days back and from yesterday I started applying lorexane ointment since the wound was looking like abscess( I cleaned the wound and applied ointment) and started giving aricef 50mg (antibiotics)tablet morning and evening and the wound is not looking any better, it started looking more watery ! When I met the vet he said to do what I am doing now!rification don't know what to do.is 50 mg too much for the cat?
I have a 15 year old pittbull mix that is exhibiting all of the tell-tale signs of cushing's disease. Excessive panting, increased thirst, frequent urination (having accidents in the house), restlessness, increased hunger, 'bony' head structure. She is a very aggressive dog (always has been) and it would be near impossible to bring her into a vet clinic to have blood drawn to test her. Are there any holistic ways I can treat her symptoms?
My cat never bends her right leg when she sits like that but she can bend it while she is laying down or sitting in other position. She is not limping while she is walking. She can run very fast without any problems despite her weight.I don’t understand why she is not bending her right leg while she is sitting like that.Cats always sits in this wierd position and they bend both legs. Is she in pain? Why she can’t bend both?
Hello, my 6-7 year old male cat has a large hard area on his stomach. This area has slowly been growing larger and his stomach is now hanging down quite low when he walks. He doesn't seem to be in any pain, and is eating/going to the bathroom properly.
Hi, My roommates have a pet cocker spaniel, who they give treats to every time after she poops. The cocker spaniel poops a lot each day now (at least 6 plus times a day) because many times she will squeeze out a small poop just to get a treat. I've seen her poop 3 times in 3 hours. I worry that this is bad for the cocker spaniel's health and told them they shouldn't give her a treat every time she poops to discourage this. However, they won't stop. Is the dog's health at risk? Thank you
