White Cage - Breeding/Other

Purchased from Petco. No Instructions. It is a little flimsy. I had to zip tie the corners. The largest doors are about 4" x 4" so if you have large hands and want to change any hanging items inside the cage, or use paper for the bottom, it's tricky getting your hand and the items in and out. I'm using it as a temp. quarantine cage and my hands are small, so it's OK for me. (Catching a bird will be tricky too.)

Bad Experience with shopping online from Petco, The item was damaged during shipping and it was back to petco warehouse , I waited for more than 20 days and I didn't get my money back till writing this review

good size for 2 finches. Photo shows it has 4 legs. There are NO legs on what they sent me :-( Not sure if that's ok or not... I liked the one in the photo with legs...Not sure if I'm going to keep it or return it.

The divider was very flamsy. The food/water cups did not fit. To many pieces. Had to wait for to get food/water cups in order to use the cage.

- I haven't weighed it, but is is not heavy. I can hold it with one hand on the handle at the top. would say probably 8 pounds or so.

- They can be with in reason you would have to tie wrap them. My babies like to hang out on top

Is the divider in the middle a solid piece, or is it more like a screen! Bonded pair of parakeets. Don’t want them breeding again but they need to be able to see each other....
- If you get this cage try measuring the divider. Then cut a piece of clear plastic or plexiglass to match and use it. You may be able to cut some wire and attach the edge to a piece of wood or something on outer sides to hold in place and keep the sharp ends away from birds.

- I think about a quarter of an inch my finches can't go out. Just enough space for my Parrolett to stick her beak thru

- Yes it would work but a taller cage would be better because they like to climb and being higher. Up in their cage

Would this be suitable for button quail?
- Yes, if you have a very small button quail. Otherwise, I recommend finding another cage which provides more room for moving around. I was previously going to buy this cage but found a way better and cheaper cage that worked perfectly for my two budgies.
