No. While the cutting-edge technology behind Vetericyn has broad applications across all species, Vetericyn is intended solely for use on animals.
Vetericyn products contain a synthesized version of a germ-fighting molecule that occurs naturally in our white blood cells—hypochlorous (HOCl) acid. Because the HOCl molecule is pH neutral and has a similar safety profile to saline, it’s appropriate for animals even if ingested. And it doesn’t damage healthy tissue the way traditional wound cleansers can, making it ideal for cleaning, irrigating, and debriding wounds to jumpstart the healing process.
Vetericyn is made from super-oxidized hypochlorous (HOCl) solution—a known antimicrobial that has demonstrated efficacy in vitro against several strains of bacteria.

Will Vetericyn Plus help with the bump on Peggy’s face? I have circled it.
We discovered a big open wound on Rj's left rear hip it's not bleeding doesn't seem infected vet isn't open right now should we treat with Vetericyn until we can get him to the vet Monday?
My pugs left eye is pink and looks foggy in certain lighting. I’ve been using Vetericyn pet eye wash but it’s been a few days. I’m super worried and I’m not sure what to do.
My black lab mix has a slight bump/scrape on his leg. What do you think I should do? Will Vetericyn help? He's eating normal and seems to be well, 2 years old. I don't know how long it's been there... just noticed it tonight.
My pet rat got his leg stuck in the cage one week ago, he has been on amoxicillin since then and I also spay Vetericyn Plus on his leg twice a day. Is there anything else I can do to help the wound heal. He is eating, drinking, peeing and pooping regularly.
Hi we thought this may had been an allergy to something however it has gotten worse we keep the area clean and put peroxide and vetericyn on it can you plz tell us what may be wrong with our girl ?
Noticed 2 days ago small wounds under my dogs mouth and in the folds- I think from scratching. Minor yellow discharge when cleaned (but not actively draining) I have been cleaning with Vetericyn plus, and was on vacation- but will go pick up a cone today. Have seen slight improvement since I noticed them. Is this something I need to see my vet for/need antibiotics? Or any other suggestions? Thanks!
My girl was diagnosed with another eye ulcer last night (the first was in August and healed fully). She has had two doses of Terramycin and still seems very painful - squinting and not wanting to move much. Her previous ulcer she seemed to feel better more quickly, but she started on vetericyn and switched to Terramycin after two weeks. How long do dogs typically have to be in treatment before they start feeling better?
Our cat has recently gotten an eye infection. She is the only one of our three cats that has this. She has had it in her left eye for about two weeks. We have tried the Vetericyn plus eye drops for cats which previously worked on one of our other cats, but hasn’t help at all this time. She is 15 years old and I was wondering if you had any idea of what this might be and or any advice. Thank you
Nashville has a cut on her paw pad and we’re trying to figure out the best way to help it heal it quickly. We think it’s a cut, it’s the white curcle in the picture. We’ve been trying to leep it clean, and spray Vetericyn on it. It causes her to limp. Is there anything else we can do to help her so she’s more comfortable?
He looks like a Labrador mix with short legs and has an immensely dense off white coat maybe 8 or 9 yrs old. He has developed an open sore over the past two days on top of his head. We have been spraying it with Vetericyn wound and skin care which we got from our vet for previous sore. While gone our 4mo Gshepherd puppy made it worse. Our vet had no opening till tomorrow pm. He is beside himself with pain. How can we help him until tomorrow?
I think my 11 month old shitzu has a histiocytoma. I just ordered her vetericyn at the suggestion of a vet on pet coach. I won’t have the necessary funds to take her to a vet due to me being on vacation, for the next few weeks. She is not acting any different, she is drinking, eating, playing, sleeping all normal and she is not licking the site at all (it’s in the armpit on front leg). When I receive the medicine how should I use it? And will the histiocytoma shrink and go away on its own?
