Vetericyn Plus Antimicrobial Hydrogel is designed to adhere to the cat's wound to provide soothing relief and protection during healing. Ingredients
Hypochlorous Acid (0.0120%) Inactive: Electrolyzed Water, Sodium Chloride, Phosphates, Sodium Hypochlorite.
For animal use only. Shake well before use. Move excess hair from wound area. Clip if necessary. Saturate the affected area with hydrogel. If dressing is required, saturate dressing with Vetericyn Plus at each dressing change. Repeat 3-4 times per day or as necessary. Faster healing is achieved when wounds are clean and maintained moist. No rinsing necessary. Safe for use around mouth, nose, ears, and eyes. For best results, first clean affected area with Vetericyn Plus Wound and Skin Care Liquid to ensure deep dermal cleansing and proper wound bed preparation.
For external use only. Discontinue use if irritation develops and contact your veterinarian. For animal use only, not for human use.

- Yes, it is safe to use on your cat abscess. If the abscess is still deep, tunneled, or irritated, we suggest using our Wound & Skin liquid. Once the affected area is closed and you are seeing healing start, you can switch over to hydrogel and wrap if its in an area that can be covered.

My senior cat has a bout of miliary dermatitis on the outside of his ears and top of his head not caused by fleas. Can this be applied to help the itch and to hopefully eradicate the scabby rash?
- Hi Jen4Kings. Our Feline Hydrogel will help relieve the itch and irritation caused by dermatitis. It will also protect and aid healing. Can this be used on an abscess that ruptured? If so do I need to wait till it stops draining to use?
- Yes, it can. As it is water based, you don't need to wait till it stops draining to use.

Will it help against ringworm
- Our Vetericyn Plus products work great to help address ringworm symptoms and can also help reduce itch and pain. We suggest using our liquid formula to clean the area and them following up with the hydrogel. Sometimes, ringworm can become severe enough that it requires medical attention by a veterinarian. Would this medication help with feline herpes?
- Thank you for your question. Our product can help topically with sores and irritation caused from Feline Herpes but it will not cure or treat the disease itself. Vetericyn Plus is a great solution to use to spray on the affected area to keep clean and reduce irritation.

About 1/4 through the bottle and the spray nozzle is all "gunked up" and nothing comes out. I cleaned with warm water and still no spray...any tips so i can actually use this and not waste it?

Is this product safe to use on nursing cats who have kittens?
- You can use to cleanse off dried blood or treat a superficial, small, shallow, fresh wound. Must rinse off copiously and pat/blow dry on low heat prior to allowing kittens to nurse again. My cat has a wound about 1/2 inch in diameter. It doesn't look infected but she is licking it a lot. We have a cone we can put on her, but I need to know if we can use Viaderm-K.C. Cream on it which we have left over from our now deceased dog. Also can we use Germi-Stat Gel 4%? We will take her to the vet at any sign of infection, or if not healing.

Hello, My cat Bugger has an open wound due to Squamous cell carcinoma. I clean the wound twice a day with saline and then apply Neomycin and Polymyxin B Sulfates and Dexamethasone Ophthalmic ointment. The wound bleeds and stings after using the saline. I am going to clean the wound with sterile warm water and then use the ointment. May I have your thoughts please? Thank you. Linda

My dog has problems with her eyes quite regularly and I have found that using Vetericyn Plus Antimicrobial Ophthalmic Gel whenever she has it gets rid of it within a few days. I apply it three times a day and keep her cone on to prevent her from itching it. Although this time it seems to not Ben working like it usually has in the past. So I’m worried it’s something more serious or I’ll have to get something else for her. Can’t afford to take her to vet till Monday. So hoping for answers here.
Hello, my cat has been really itchy around his neck area recently but I know he doesn’t have any bugs .. the major problem is him itching his neck its causing him to bleed and lose some of his fur . I have been covering his neck and using Vetericyn plus feline anti microbial hydrogel to heal his abrasions.. it works very well and helps him heal but whatever is bothering his neck seems to be spreading all around And I don’t know what could be causing it . Do you have any idea of what it could be?

My pet cat had cut his paw. The vet shop has given a topical wound healing spray and an antibiotic syrup (Cefpodoxime proxetil oral suspension IP) and has prescribed a 1mL twice a day dosage. My cat was smelling, then I noticed a wound below the right ear with pus coming out. It is a red wet wound. We gave him Almox-250 (Amoxicillin) for 5-6 days. And applied Hydrogen Peroxide, then, coconut oil with turmeric, both using a 2ml syringe (without the needle). Now the wound has become small, but there is a swelling above the wound.
