I just noticed this red splotch on My 18 month German Shepherd. When I noticed it she didn’t pull away in pain. I used a little bit of burts bees all natural anti itch spray on it and she didn’t react to it at all either, no signs of pain. This is the first time I’ve ever seen something like this on her. Is it worth taking her to the vet? Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.
My dog is constantly itching and biting her body, mainly her tail. Now she’s licking and nibbling at her front paws. I didn’t change her food or anything that I did prior to this. But since then I’ve tried adding an egg and fish oil capsules. Then I tried only the fish oil. Now I’m trying fresh pet select added to her dry food. For her skin I’ve gradually switched her to burts bees dog wash products. But they don’t seem to be doing anything. She has bald spots on her tail and hips. Idk what 2 do
Hi, I currently use a lot of Burt’s Bees products for my dog, what is your opinion on these products? Thank you very much for your opinion Diana
My dog got stung by ground bees he has hives on him. I gave him a cold bath and a benadryl what should I do?
My German shepherd was bitten by the bees on paw. Is there anything to concern about. Also, she has some pale yellow mucus type thing in her eyes. is she suffering from some allergy?
Our 18 week old male mini Aussie pup is constantly biting himself as if he has itching or has fleas. No flees, lice, scabs or skin flaking. We use Burt’s Bees wash and conditioner to bathe him. He eats well, pees and poops regularly, naps and sleeps well. Jesse is mostly black with white legs and belly. I’ve never had a pet behave in this manner. Any ideas?
My dog has been itching and I’ve noticed dry skin and scabbing on certain parts of his body.. sometimes he scratches and bites to the point where it turns red and starts to kind of bleed. Right now I’m using Burt’s and bees itching relief shampoo but I haven’t really seen that it is helping. Is there any topical ointments recommended in store that would be able to relieve it?
I read that Ragdoll cats are fairly low shed bc they don't have an undercoat. I was wondering if the combination of one of these products & a low shedding cat would make them almost allergy free? The title of the products are: "Burt's Bees Dander Reducing Cat Spray, 10-oz bottle" OR "Allerpet Cat Dander Remover with Bonus Solution Application Mitt - 100% Non Toxic Pet Allergen Reducer - Scientifically Proven for Effective Cat Allergy Relief - Proudly USA Made (12oz)" both found on amazon. Thanks
Hi my name is Emily and my dog Lilly she’s 1 Years old and I saw These bumps on her chin 3 days ago and was wondering what they might be she likes to try to get bees but she’s not all swollen? Please let me know what you think I should do and what they are thank you have a good day
I think my dog has a paranoia of bees/wasps/flies, she keeps whipping around and freaking out like there is one in her fur, even when there isn't. When she was younger, one got stuck in her fur and she had a hard time getting it out, and she has been paranoid of them since. How do I make her not paranoid?
Hi, My husky hurt his paw so I put Espree Paw Balm on his paw and Im guessing he licked it because he pooped out what looked like resin. The ingredients in the Paw Balm are lanolin, bees wax, carnauba, sweet almond oil, aloe oil, lemon peel oil, vitamin E, comfrey extract, arnica. Now hes okay but laying around a bit more than normal. I added pictures of the resin like stuff from his poop. When I squeeze it is hard but I can scrape it if I scrape hard. Thank you!
My 4 month old German Shepard puppy has been scratching and biting herself for about a week and a half. We last bathed her about 3-4 weeks ago. We used burts puppy shampoo as we have in the past on Tuesday. She is still scratching and biting. Last night I noticed a light rash. No Fleas to be seen anywhere. Not before or when bathing, not now. Her diet has not changed. Merrik Back Country dry food. Should I buy her an oatmeal shampoo? My mom suggested baby benadryl but I dont know about that.
