Start from the front of your dog's neck, working your way from head to tail. Gently brush from the root of your pet's coat to the tip of their fur, in the natural direction of hair growth. Avoid using heavy pressure or dragging the brush along the skin. Use caution around your dog's face, ears, and potentially sensitive areas. Brush small areas at a time to prevent tugging. For best de-shedding results, brush daily.

Brush broke after two swipes

Literally did two swipes on my dog, portuguese water dog (absolutely no matting) and the bristle pad came out of the brush. I put it back in and tried again, same thing. Don’t waste your money.

I brush my Shiba with this, He enjoys it every time. He lays on his side and loves to be scratched by the bristles. I’m careful to not press too hard because the bristles are not plastic tipped. But heavy pressure is not needed. Just a light brushing removes large hair balls. My dog has never been poked or scratched by it. Highly recommend
