For first time brushers, place a small amount of toothpaste on your finger and invite the dog to lick it off. Slowly progress to rubbing your finger along the gumline and teeth. Then put a small amount of toothpaste on a Burt's Bees toothbrush and repeat. Always make this a positive experience for your dog. For best results, brush daily.

is dangerous if my dog ate toothpaste?
My dog is constantly licking herself on the top of her front paws and her back legs well we noticed her breath has been smelling rancid for about a month now and she would never let us look. Well earlier I decided I had to do something so I bought a dog toothbrush and sat down to open her mouth and upon doing so found she had a big hairball matted in between her brottom front teeth. I got tweezers and pulled it out and now her gums are bleeding and look very raw and I'm worried about infection.
My beagles breath has gotten so bad, he’s so little that brushing his teeth, especially in the front can be near impossible. I’m afraid now that something has happened either to a tooth or possibly his gums. He no longer wants to play or play tug and is very guarded of his face even just to be pet. His saliva has thickened and when he drinks an increased amount of particles (food and grass from parks) are left behind in his bowl. He is 1.5 years old and has never drooled once, until a 2weeks ago
Watering eyes. Itching, hair has come out. Top of tail and down some. Thought mites. Put olive oil -had relief. Dogfood is Tasty Nuggets. Was having rawhide- and purina beggins. Pet Pantry said flea allergin maybe. Owner car wreck gone 7th month- gave. Stopped rawhide & was going to get new dogfood. Have insurance - but not outright . Used borax and peroxide rinse - said for relief mites or itch & gave relief- said once week.

Best flea/ parasite pill for small dog?
Hi! I have an 8 month old kitten and ive recently noticed that her breath stinks a bit and I want to take care of her dental health. So I recently tried the greenies treats to help to prevent any possible future plague or tartar build up. I tried to brush her teeth but that failed. Artemis didn't even want to try the chicken flavored toothpaste. Are greenies effective for dental health? what Would you recommend to maintain her dental health? Are water additives effective for dental heath?
