I need to know what I can do right now to relieve my dogs itching. He’s up and unable to sleep and keeping everyone else up as well. He’s miserable. Over the counter itch spray did not help. I’ve included pictures after his bath that we gave hoping that would help him. He has spots by his armpits that are not dirt that are brown and then pink spots all over that I’m assuminf is from his constant scratching. Please help.
My 12 year old chihuahua has got spots above her tail. She is being treated for one that's healing on her left shoulder. My Vet told Me to give her low dose benadryl? It helps but shes still incessantly scratching. I've tried oatmeal baths. Coconut oil and even a small bit of witch hazel? What else can I do? Desperate Dog Mum..
My dog has been scratching for more then 3 months. She has been scratching constantly and bitting herself to the point she has scabs and her fur has turned redish( her fur is white). I have bought a spray for itching and hot spots, medicine for itching it looks like Benadryl. I also put hydrocortisone cream. Don’t know what todo.

My dog won’t stop itching. He has hot spots all over his belly, and is itching so much he’s panting. I’ve switched foods, and have Benadryl the last few nights. Nothing is working, not even oatmeal baths. He’s so pitiful, I just want to find him some relief.

Max is very itchy and biting areas of his fur. Went to vet for yearly visit a week ago and said it might be allergies. Gave max fish oil and cetirizine. Since then he developed a bump which is now bleeding due to scratching. Is this something other than allergies like hot spots or allergies? Watering eyes. Itching, hair has come out. Top of tail and down some. Thought mites. Put olive oil -had relief. Dogfood is Tasty Nuggets. Was having rawhide- and purina beggins. Pet Pantry said flea allergin maybe. Owner car wreck gone 7th month- gave. Stopped rawhide & was going to get new dogfood. Have insurance - but not outright . Used borax and peroxide rinse - said for relief mites or itch & gave relief- said once week.

My dog has seasonal allergy problems. Since spring is coming he's starting to get a lot of his allergy symptoms back. One of his symptoms is he gets bumps similar to hives filled with lymph. He can get very inflamed and itchy. My vet said to put witch hazel on him. How else can I help with the inflammation and other symptoms?
