My Pet dog has swollen ear and it is swelling day when I consulted to the local veterinary Doctor, He just told me to cut the ear after the complete swelling of ear .. is there any other process for her cure

My dog has a red smelly ear only one of them and she tries to scratch it but nothing! Is there any home made remedies that I can try on her? I cleaned her ears with hydrogen peroxide with the tip of the towel today.

My dog has a bacteria ear infection and I have been using drops twice a day for the infected ear only and a cleaner once a day for both ears. The infected ear is very greasy and I was wondering if it would be okay to clean some of the fur with dawn dish soap.
