My poor dog suffers from bad yeast infections in the ears. I can't get her to a vet for at least a couple weeks and I found this product online and I want to make sure it's safe to use in her yeast infection in her ears. The product is called ILIUM EAR DROPS 20ml. They contain the following: Dichlorophen 5mg/mL, Lignocaine HCI 5mg/mL, Piperonyl butoxide 5mg/mL, Pyrethrins 500µg/mL
My dog (westie) has an ear infection (outer ear) and the vet gave her malacetic aural to cleanse and cortavance cortisone to treat the infected ear for 7 days. Is this a good treatment?
Both my cats lately have been scratching and shaking their ears. It seems to be getting worse. I looked in one of them and it's very black. As I'm skeptical about OTC medicine, I was wondering if it'd be safe to try, Sentry HC Earmite Free Ear Miticide for Cats, 1-oz bottle. I don't want to harm my kitties, but if it would be safe then I'd like to try.
Can you prescribe meds for dog ear infection
Nonstop vet visits bc BAD allergies. Last was for infected toe sore from licking at night- needed cone & steroid inj. Pic is wat we use/tried. Apoquel is on/off bc causes bad constipation. cytopoint inj never help. Changed 2 new diet-helped ALOT w/the 24/7 scratching licking & skin issues but eyes & ears still bad. RX eye drops for when infect but last 3x vet said no infect. Have 2 clean&use drops daily bc builds up bad fast. Saw this going2 Vet but rly worried/shocked. What caused this? Advice?
My 7 yr old Havanese has had a cherry for about 5 years and sometimes she rubs and scratches it and it can get inflamed. A canine ophthalmologist once prescribed Neomycin and Polymyxin B Sulfates and Dexamethasone Opthalmic Suspension, USP and I put one drop in her eye three 3 times a day and her eye was better after a couple of days. Is there an OTC eye drop or ointment that would help her if she rubs her eye and it gets irritated? Would Terramycin Ophthalmic Ointment help and is it safe?
My friend has 2 dogs and 3 cats all with ear mites. I dont think they'll be able to take all of them to vets. I was wondering if there was something they could do at home to help clear them up? They have alcohol wipes, neosporin, hydrogen peroxide, vaseline n a few other things. And I heard oils could help, but dont know if sesame, or vegetable would be appropriate. Or is there a medicine we could get from somewhere besides a vet? I feel bad for the itchy eared critters
Vet in Mexico told she had a ear infections gave drops for 7 days but she still scratching and has a odor
I have a pit with extremely swollen ears that She will not stop scratching at it had gotten to the point where she no longer has hair on or around her ears leaving her with inflamed skin and sores that bleed often .. Is there anything you could recommend that will help the sores heal and make the swelling go down, also something to soothe the dry skin around her ears so hopefully her hair grows back preferably ones i can get at the local pet store or pharmacy?? That aren't to pricey
The vet gave Dahlia Synotic 8 ml and TriOtic ointment 15g. First how do you use for her feet and how safe are they because she licks her feet constantly
I was prescribed a medication for my cat for bacteria in her ears and she jerked and I squirt way too much ointment into her ear canal. How badly will this damage her? She's a 17 yr old 6.6 lb kitty
A veternarian prescribed my dog a medication to treat his ear infection but think i put too much drops in his ear Could this hurt him ?
