My poor dog suffers from bad yeast infections in the ears. I can't get her to a vet for at least a couple weeks and I found this product online and I want to make sure it's safe to use in her yeast infection in her ears. The product is called ILIUM EAR DROPS 20ml. They contain the following: Dichlorophen 5mg/mL, Lignocaine HCI 5mg/mL, Piperonyl butoxide 5mg/mL, Pyrethrins 500ยตg/mL
Hello, my name is Ashlee. I have a 10 year old male German Shepherd who has had ear problems for awhile now. We have been giving him this medication that we ordered online to help with his ears. Personally, I don't think it's helping any. I was wondering if you could help us?
What is good product for war mites and dirty ears?
Hello, my 13 year old husky has this black crust on the tips of her ears. It seems to get better with tea tree oil. Any suggestion??
We have a floppy eared mixed breed puppy whose ears are extremely itchy at night, it keeps him up. My husband thinks it's yeast, and there is a brown residue in the ear canal. Can you recommend a home remedy or treatment for us to clean out his ears and prevent itching? He won't sit still for a picture unfortunately. photo attached is from a google image search. It's not him, but the substance looks the same. He just doesn't have as much of it, he has about half the amount in that image per ear
Chubby had ear mite when we adopted him a month ago. We got the medication from our vet and finished 10 day treatment. His ears became clean a week ago. When I check his ears today, I noticed the redness and bumps on both side of his ears(See pics). What is this? if he needs a treatment, can we get the medication from Petco? Thanks.
Hi,my cat has ear infection, there is black hard as rock stuff that comes out of his ear with little pus and sometime fluid like water, also his cheek under the ear is slightly swollen,i treated him with Dexoryl,it helped for a week and after that the problem came again,my vet told me to put warm sunflower oil in his ear and that will help, the oil helps the stuff to come out,but is it enough? What you recommend for treatment, something for the infection, other ear drops or antibiotic orally?thank you
My cocker spaniel has awful issues with allergies. When she gets a flare up it starts in her ear and then becomes systemic through her sticking her paws in her ears and then licking her paws. We are now dealing with a yeast infection of her skin. Currently using malacetic shampoo to bathe her, but that doesn't seem to deter the growth. She has licked herself raw in areas. Last night we bought a hot spot foam and a collar to deter licking. Any suggestions on other treatments for the yeast?
i took my 8 year old Vizsla/pit bull mix to the Vet a year ago, because she constantly shakes her head(like a wet dog would do) They found no ear infection, but still prescribed an ear gel called Zymox Otic. It didnt help, in fact, she lost her hearing for a few days, so I stopped giving it to her. She still shakes her head constantly, and itches her ears slowly. It really bothers her. Any clue as to the cause of this? Vet bills can be costly, so I thought I would ask here. Thank you! -Casey
Hi my chihuahua has an on going skin allergy in his ears,he has been treated by the vet twice, hes had injections, ear cleaner & drops and antibiotics,it clears for roughly two weeks then comes back,is there anything i can give him to ease the pain as he screams everytime he itches it.
