List of the best bird foods for parakeets

Mostly what kind of foods Bird's like to eat much?

I am looking for the best pellets for my canaries. Last year they were on a seed diet, but I slowly switched them over to Zumpreem Fruit Blend. However, I've read that the Fruit Blend has a lot of artificial coloring and sugars. I'm having trouble finding information for what the best pellets are. Please help!

I have 2 parakeets and I have been feeding them seeds and millet. I believe that what I am currently feeding them is not nutritious. I.e. treats and normal diet. Should I buy pellets and change out his food between seeds and pellets daily? Can I offer him dry food treats? What is a good snack/treat for him that’s healthy?

Can I use little honey to make my budgie's food more visible to him? To make it look like a treat but it'll be a stick of his gourmet food held together by honey.
