Questions
Two questions: (1) Does this food contain lactose? I know most birds do not respond to lactose well. (2) Does this food contain sugar; if so, how much? My amazon parrot is a foodie and has had weight gain problems in the past and cannot eat sugar. Thanks!

My hamster loves sunflower seeds that are in his hamster food and always picks these out first. Would these be ok for him. I know it says for birds or do you have just sunflower seeds like this for him.
- Should be fine for hamsters. It's just a yogurt coating around the seed

Are Fiesta Yogurt Dipped Sunflower Seeds probiotic?
- Many, if not most, of the yogurt dipped fruits/seeds/etc do not contain actual yogurt...It's sugar. If it does contain yogurt, it's a TINY amount. I would stick with giving REAL yogurt (preferably with no artificial sweeteners).

Can you name some very exciting treats for birds? I've been trying to connect with my bird for a while now, I've had him for two months, but he still doesn't trust me. I was hoping to get him to like me with some treats.
Hi, i have 2 new young cockatiels and we have to travel for around 4 nights and i want to leave them enough food, so i was wondering if it is okay to leave them homemade dried fruits, sunflower seeds and phalaris (canary seeds)? My cockatiel has been eating Leferber’s Premium Daily Diet pellets as a staple diet. She’s also been eating broccoli everyday. I also give her a bit of crushed eggshells once or twice a week. She has a cuttlebone available at all times. I’m wondering if this would be an okay product to give her? She isn’t much of a veggie eater. Will this be beneficial or unnecessary for her? Hi! I am considering changing Addy’s food over to Taste of the Wild High Prairee puppy food. It’s grain free and has lean proteins and a 28% protein content. Currently she is on Blue Buffalo large breed puppy food that has whole grains. She is experience soft stool in the evening. I believe this may be from her food? Blue Buffalo is chicken based, and she does drink lots of water. She just had a vet appt, no presence of parasites in her stool. Any recommendations?
