I have had my parakeet for about 1 month now. When cleaning his cage, I noticed that his cuttlebone seemed to be untouched. Due to this, I have moved it to be a tad bit more accessible, but it doesn't seem like he knows what to do with it. What should I do?

So this is kinda strange my parakeets manage to snap the long stick in half and shave it down on a certain spot quite a bit they have a block so they can shave their claws and beaks so I don't know why they snap the stick also I realize in the picture I put three stuff of bird food but they focus on the top one on the bottom left they barely touch the bird food

My cockatiel has been eating Leferber’s Premium Daily Diet pellets as a staple diet. She’s also been eating broccoli everyday. I also give her a bit of crushed eggshells once or twice a week. She has a cuttlebone available at all times. I’m wondering if this would be an okay product to give her? She isn’t much of a veggie eater. Will this be beneficial or unnecessary for her? Tahani's beak is over grown, I have tried filing it myself as I have experience with that but could not get it much shorter.
