I only gave a 3 star because this style is way too big for the cuttlebones I have, and my parakeets were scared when I tried putting inside their cage. Wish was small.

A little on the large size for a small bird, but at least his cuttlebone isn't slipping down the side of the cage every time he pecks on it! All in all, I am happy with it and he does like the little perch on the front of it.

The idea is great, but I agree with other review. It is HUGE! My parrotlet hangs out on the perch too. The holder is way bigger than any cuttlebone I have seen and it takes up a lot of space on their dual cage. Need one half that size.

This is for parakeets. They are the smallest species of parrot. Definitely not.
