What kind of wood is this made from? (Many kinds are toxic for parakeets.)
- I’m not sure what the wood is, but our bird has used this for a very very long time, and chews on it occasionally and has never gotten sick from it. Our bird was a parrotlet.

My Amazon Bandit needs a larger cage. I am hesitant to purchase a new cage as the one he has is too small. Descriptions do not indicate the spacing of the bats. I am looking to get a bigger cage for my 2 year old conure. Currently I’m in the market to buy one online that is advertised as a “solid metal cage” coated with “non-toxic hammertone paint” which included stainless steel dishes. I was just wondering if this would actually be a safe cage for a green cheek. The seller is YaheeTech, which is based in Ontario California but customer pictures show a box with "Made in China." Mostly 5 stars, with lowest rating be 3 stars. Is non-toxic hammertone safe?
