My Blue and Gold Macaw loves this toy. It keeps her occupied and helps control her plucking during hormonal season. It lasts a long time (for her). I just purchased my second one.

As pictured but the medium is very very large! Our monk parrot would be overwhelmed by its size. We are taking it apart and building smaller toys out of it however!

My Amazon started chewing up the java wood 5 minutes after I placed it in his cage.....this should keep him busy for quite some time.

My amazon parrot was a little wary at first, but she has chewed this up quite a bit, taken off some of the wicker balls and wood and thrown them around. I'd say she's now enjoying it quite a bit.

My Charlie - an Amazon Blue Front is a happy bird! After a good meal (he loves pizza, chicken wings and basically everything we eat) my 40 y/o parrot loves playing with this Bird Ball Thing for hours! He destroys one every three or so weeks, basically unraveling each ball. I've had the medium and large styles. Well made and safe colors. She loves them all ❤️

Both my red lored amazon, Trixie and my blue and gold macaw, Reno love this toy. Finally found something that keeps them occupied for a long time! When some of the balls get chomped off instead of totally chomped up they get used as foot toys. Great for my parrots and will be buying forever!

My Ruby Macaw usually destroys these toys in a couple days.....this one actually lasted about 10 days, and there is still part of it left and some of the balls can be re-attached. So it's not totallly destroyed. He did love it.

African Greys are highly intelligent, so It can be a challenge to keep her busy during the day when she is in her cage. I tuck almonds and cashews inside the wicker balls, and she spend hours foraging.

How many inches tall and wide is the small size?

The smaller version is Petco ID# 2966440 and that is called "A&E Bird Ball Thing Monster for Birds, Medium" and that one measures 8"x8"x15". We hope this information helps you, have a great day!
